I never had major bad side effects on it. I did have some crazy dreams and still do. After I was on it for a couple years, things began to slowly deteriorate. I began getting panic attacks, and bouts of tachycardia and palpitations. I had a history of those but it seemed to get worse. I also noticed problems sleeping, which I still have, and just this jittery feeling that never seems to go away.
I was the top and entered him (with lubrication) for approximately one minute (tops--probably more like 15 seconds). We stopped, but then later, I re-entered him (no lubrication) for approximately one more minute before stopping. I did not ejaculate in him.
I happened to see my doctor two days later for a regular appt. and he asked (as he always does) about my sexual activity.
This should be immediately discussed by a doctor where he shall assess the risk and run a few tests for liver and kidney functions before he takes your pills.
My doctor recently put me on a combination of drugs for PEP, the drugs are lamzid and efavirenz and have very serious side effects. My exposure was licking/sucking a nipple of a non-pregnant HIV positive person. No milk came or blood came out but just had an after taste in my mouth. The act was for 2-3 seconds. What are my chances of getting HIV and are the reported cases of infection in adults, cause I know with babies you can.
I spoke to a specialty pharmacist, who agreed with my doctor that the side effects are normal, but will dissipate after my body adjust to the meds.
It seems as though, that everyone else on this forum has no side effects or very few with this combination?
I just wondered if anyone had any experience similar to mine?

I am taking Truvada also and Raltagravir. I asked my doctor whether I should change to Atripla but he said Raltagravir has the least side effects. However after 8 years i had two bouts of slight night sweats and am wondering what this means. What is ur CD like? Perhaps checking that may help clarify you anxieties or changing your boosters to Raltagrair might make a difference.

did Atripla can delay the seroconversion since i took it during 11 days.
In addition, I tried taking Atripla after the incident but I stopped after 2days because the side effects were way too much for me to handle (I imagine that's what LSD users go through on their high). How risky was stopping the medications after two doses?
The active ingredients of you will are tenofovir, emtricitabine and efavirenz. I am on day two of the Meds. The first night the side effects of dizziness were extremely severe. It was hard to walk. I found myself having a panic attack until I finally just went to sleep. When I woke up I was rather fine and did not feel dizzy. The dizziness went away by today, day 5, but my lower back is in SEVERE pain.
My question:
1) Do these side effects ware off as the course goes on? Will it get easier?

I took that to a specialist who saw the test, looked me over and gave me Atripla to start to be safe. She also sent me off for more tests, elisa and others. I also now took a PCR DNA thats not back yet. I went to a free clinic that gave me a rapid test that came up negative. I am wondering if four days now of Atripla could cause that to be negative? I am wondering if Atripla after four days will make my DNA PCR test invalid?
