Avatar f tn Hi all, I should be starting my menstrual today or tomorrow. I am on birth control and while I had missed my pill once or twice I always took it the next day like suppose to. My issue is I am severe sharp pain on my right side. My pills show I should have started Wensday, but I knows body I start 3 days later typically. So, while I am not worried about pregnancy I am tired of this pain. It has been there all day. Could it still be cyst on my ovaries, even with birth control.
Avatar f tn Did anyone check you for kidney issues or appendicitis? An ectopic pregnancy would come up as positive on a pregnancy test even if it was ectopic.
Avatar n tn I have recently been experiencing right side pain and mentioned it to my GP. He sent me for a CT which confirmed mild appendicitis. Don't have typical appendicitis symptoms other than pain and some nausea. My doc says to get it taken out. I went for a consult with a general surgeon and he said he isn't 100% that's my appendix since I don't have all the acute symptoms. He said there is no such thing as chronic appendicitis and my doc says "oh yes there is". UGH...
Avatar f tn t develop fever or vomiting with my appendicitis, reason why it was hard to diagnose, especially because it was behind my ceccum (for 1 month doctors suspected ovary pain...until my appendix burst). Can this time be stump appendicitis and doctors mistake it for cysts again?? I'm scared...
Avatar f tn Call your doctor or go to the hospital. Could be possible miscarriage or appendicitis or a gallbladder attack or something. No matter what it is, you need medical help!
Avatar m tn Hello, Cause of pelvic cramping could be due to kidney stones, pelvic infections, urine infections, twisted ovarian cyst or rupture of ovarian cyst, appendicitis or any other referred pain due to other organ infections. Get evaluated for all these causes to confirm the diagnosis. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor.
2076208 tn?1349341938 I had to have surgery when they found it (was causing pain and I went to the ER thinking I had appendicitis but ended up having a cyst) to remove mine, and I still have my ovary and was told by my gyno it wouldn't cause any difficulty in getting pregnant later on. Hopefully the birth control will work, but worst case scenario, you'll end up having surgery to remove them.
Avatar f tn Hi! I've been having lower right abdominal pain for the past week. It comes and goes. It is not sensitive to the touch. I'm not due for my menstrual for another week or so. I've actually had this pain for years off and on. Some tests have showed cysts and recently collapsed cysts. When I wake in the morning my whole lower abdomin and stomach is achy and sore. There is also a bit of nausea. I was recently in Europe where the weather was extremely cold.
Avatar f tn I had a recent ER visit for what I thought were sever menstrual cramps (i am prone to having terrible cramps when my menstrual cycle comes around) The pain i was feeling was different than any other cramps i had ever had. I went to the ER and was told that i had a ruptured ovarian cyst that was bleeding, and that i also had a large amount of fluid and blood in my ovary and that I have another cyst.
Avatar f tn For the last five days I have been having pains in my back, kidneys, right side, right side abdominal pain, pain near my belly button, pelvic pain, pain right next to my hip bone, headaches, and nausea. I'm still able to pass gas, and eat, walk and jump without pain, and when my stomach is pushed on there is no pain. I have been to the doctor multiple times for pains like these, I seem to get them each month.

471949 tn?1236904026 m not an MD, but my husband started having abdominal pain, and by his description of the pain I told him we were going to the ER because he had appendicitis. I called my surgeon who had just taken my gallbladder out a month prior, and he was incredulous that our family could need general surgery again so soon. I said, "I know, but it's classic!
Avatar f tn Could it still be appendicitis? I have almost no pain, just a little pressure on the right side. I’m just worried of an appendix rupture.
4173185 tn?1350594679 Sounds to me like you could indeed have endometriosis or polycystic ovaries. possibly even appendicitis. a simple blood test specifically for appendicitis is available. if your insurance allows i would ask my doctor to refer me to Dr. Naghma Farooqi with UMC. her clinic office is located at UMC Health Point 4004 82nd St. Lubbock, TX. 806-722-3180. She is fantastic and is taking new patients and speaks perfect English! I have had friends that live in your area and know of your frustrations. Dr.
Avatar f tn I have stabbing pains in my intestine emanating from lower right abdomen. the pain is severe and makes me cry. I have no fever. the pain seems associated with peristaltic movement. When i take a ibuprofen along with an anti-spasmotic drug I have only discomfort. When the effects of medication wear off the stabbing pains return and have loose bowel movements and double over with pain it is so intense. the pain radiates down to my right knee area as well to left of my abdomen.
Avatar f tn I have all of this too and it hurts so bad I called the emergency doctor on call at the hospital I plan on giving birth at. He said to take a tums... ugh.
Avatar n tn m not vomiting now but the pain is so bad and it even hurts to breathe in or cough or move...is this appendicitis or something serious..?? It didn't start around my naval it started in my sides/flank area and more intesified right side of abdominal area...
Avatar m tn Having been an EMT for many years I understand this could be appendicitis, however, I am confused about the pain free lapses. I live in the middle of no where with poor hospitals about 2 and a half hours away. I am hesitant to spend 5 hours in an ER and then having no pain when I am finally seen. Does it make sense to have classic appendicitis symptoms that go completely away for a few days at a time over a 3 month course?
Avatar f tn My sister told me if i had appendicitis, my pain would be getting worse cuz my aPpendix pain has been going for like 2 months now but only once the pain was severe and that was in the morning.
Avatar f tn Currently, for about the past 5 months I have been having the reoccurring pain on the left side of my lower abdomen, what I think of as where my ovary would be. It is a squeezing pain that can be very bad. It causes me to curl up, but it only last about a minute. I started birth control in June 08 because I was having about 60 days between my periods and it was very painful. Now I just got finished with my period that lasted 28 days.
Avatar f tn HI, Right lower quadrant pain can be due to ovarian cyst or appendicitis. The intermittent nature of the pain is typical of appendicitis. However it can also be found when the ovarian cyst undergoes torsion. The fever suggests the possibility of infection. Hence it would be best to see your Doctor again. Once a correct diagnosis is made the appropriate treatment can be initiated. The answer is based on information provided.
