I took steroid for 4 days and then pepcid for a week. Skip ahead two weeks....out of nowhere my elbow joint is hurting. I thought it was odd since I haven't been able to go to the gym for awhile from being sick. By that night both elbows and knees hurt. The next morning my ankles and wrists. I feel like I'm 80 years old and I'm only 34! I'm extremely healthy and active and never had health problems. It's been a week and I still hurt so bad.
How long can i use antihistamine for my daughter aged 7 months to relieve her of the eczema itching.
DSM-IV does not classify medications. Coricidin is an antihistamine, not a mental health medication.
Aside from Lymes disease, it could be Lupus. Both present with joint pain and a rash. Fifth disease also presents with joint pain and a rash.
So there you have at least three leads. Now you need to be diagnosed. I believe a rheumatologist would be your best "bet". A "rheumy" would be familiar with all three diseases as they all cause join pain.

you need to go to the doctors and ask him to provide you with prescription eye drop for your eyes being dry and take tylonale but only like 2 tablets every 2 hours
The symptoms of STDs include warts, ulcers, yellow or white vaginal/penile discharge, burning with urination, pelvic pain, bleeding between periods, testicular pain and joint pain etc. You do not seem to have any of these symptoms. These symptoms which respond to an antihistamine are probably hives. If the symptoms are severe and persistent seek the consultation of an allergist for further evaluation and management. It appears to happen about the first joint of the finger. The skin becomes rough, red, scaly and hard and the skin peels away, making it raw underneath. It is quite unslightly.
Hi, my dermatologist has prescribed me a antihistamine for my itching and wants me to use it for 4-6 weeks. The med is called hydroxzine. I am concerned because i never heard of anyone using antihistamine for that long. Will this severly affect my liver? Please help!
Since then I have avoided taking any antihistmaines except for Benadryl. I did take an occasional Claritin but it seems like every time I did anything I break out more. My allergist told me to try Claritin tabs instead of gel caps but I took one after having my allergy shot and I broke out in hives again. Now all the pollen is out and my eyes are really itchy and red and I have a hard time seeing at work. I tried taking Atarax last night to see if that would help more than Benadryl.
not life or death type allergies, but sneezing, itchy nose and eyes, headaches. I take a one a day antihistamine to deal with it. .. but it says on the box not to take if pregnant. Im only 7 weeks, and have stopped taking them... but my allergies are horrible at the moment. All the sneezing is not helping with my morning sickness. During my last pregancey my symptoms actually went away but not this time... my question is can i take my antihistamine?
Update.
Pain still persist, Im still taking my antihistamine medication for almost a month now but ti no avail. I'll arrange an appointment with the neuro ASAP.
To describe the pain further...
Sitting with my perineum in contact with the chair will cause muscle stiffness to my right thigh and legs, it also feels like im sitting on a chair of nails in my butt skin and perineum.
Also taking Bentyl for IBS. In that same year I started experiencing pain in my chest which a Holter monitor showed tachycardia(sinus?). Approx 4 months ago I got a rash on my cheek and one on the lower left side of my belly.They are extremely itchy. Also having intermittent flu like symptoms (bone & muscle pain)but no fever, brain fog,extreme fatigue and chronic headaches and Dermographism.
I have joint pain in my knees and elbows, weakness in knees after kneeling down and trying to stand up. I have numbness that comes and goes in my feet. My chemo/raidiation treatments ended a year ago. Are these aches and pains caused by the after effects of the drugs and radiation? I also have trouble taking antibiotics or pain meds. I seems to get every side effect listed. Alcohol of any type bothers me also. I use to enjoy a glass of wine but no longer.
I have had unexplained joint pain for 4 weeks in my hips, knees, ankles, wrists and elbows. I also have a spot on my spine that feels bruised. This pain occured sudden. I woke up one morning and was overcome with a severe pain in my hips. The pain is so debilitating. Before this, I was a very active, healthy person. Now, its hard to even get out of bed. i'm 36 years old. I was tested for lymes and the test came back negative.
