Avatar n tn Yes thyroid problems can cause muscle, and joint pain along with the headache and weight gain. The first time when I responded to your comment I didn't know about the weight gain issues because you didn't mention them. Hopefully after you begin treatment for your thyroid, you will feel better soon.

Avatar n tn Duoneb does not contain antihistamine. It contains Albuterol, which sends a signal to the airway smooth muscle to loosen, and Ipratropium bromide, which interferes with the signal our cholinergic system sends to the airway muscle to clamp back down. So one relaxes, while the other stops the system from getting tight again.

The pain is intermittent, but if it started to be continuous it would quickly become an issue! It feels a little like eye strain- like a pulled muscle type of feeling, uncomfortable and sore on the eye intermittently, and there is some soreness inside the lids and dryness. Noticeable strain looking up and down, left right... it pulls and feels sore.

Avatar f tn Hi, Aside from physical therapy, massages and high doses of ibuprofen, anti-inflammatory medications and muscle relaxants can help. Try to avoid stress and you can also try relaxation techniques such as biofeedback or psychotherapy and other relaxation techniques. With regards to ibuprofen, make sure that you have food intake and that you only take it as prescribed to prevent long term problems with your liver. Take care and do keep us posted.
Avatar m tn My face and lips experienced some burning sensation and I felt weak and heavy in my calf muscles. My doctor put me on antihistamine and the facial burning sensation reduced. However I started to experience burning sensation in my head - scalp. Avatar f tn My allergist told me to try Claritin tabs instead of gel caps but I took one after having my allergy shot and I broke out in hives again. Now all the pollen is out and my eyes are really itchy and red and I have a hard time seeing at work. I tried taking Atarax last night to see if that would help more than Benadryl. Big mistake since I woke up broke out in bad hives. I had to wait to get home to take benadryl since I am not 100% certain that Benadryl does not give me hives.
Avatar f tn I personally take a claritin everyday. I have seasonal allergies and pet dander makes my eyes and face really itchy. My Dr OKed it and said its totally safe. Hope this helps.
12498457 tn?1425603087 When the weather changes from winter to spring-like conditions, my seasonal allergies kick in full force. So, the pressure buildup and sneezing fits (6+ in rapid succession) get worse. Allergy meds only help so much leaving me miserable and hoping I don't have a massive pain episode at work. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on how to lessen the sneezing at least? With hopes that I'll be able to function at work until the end of March?
612551 tn?1450022175 I had prior to the vet visit above been given Wilson one half Benedryl 25 mg Antihistamine morning and evening, in the hope it would clear up the paw problem. A couple weeks of this did not produce any improvement. I then checked and saw recommendations to use 1 - 2 mg per pound. As Wilson is j20+ pounds my does level was low. I have decided to continue giving him Benadryl but now one 25 mg capsule morning and night. Hope it keeps his paws and general itch problems under control.

484160 tn?1343397921 I have asked my rheumatologist about the itching, the muscle weakness and the atrophy, but she basically shrugs it off. Frustration has led me to research the symptoms myself and try to some to ome kind of understanding of what is going on. Then the other night I happened to be watching a show called Dr. G - Medical Examiner, which follows an ME on some of her more interesting/exotic cases, and what should be on there but a woman with Lupus who had horrible itching on her arms and legs.

Avatar f tn Hello, I recently noticed a small lump under my foreskin, right at the base of the glans. It doesn't cause any pain, and can be moved a bit, and it's appearance leads me to think it's a pimple or cyst deep in the foreskin. A couple days after it appeared my real problem started. I noticed that the foreskin had swollen slightly over the top side of the glans shortly after I masturbated.
