Antihistamine and rapid heartbeat

Common Questions and Answers about Antihistamine and rapid heartbeat

antihistamine

Avatar f tn I too had a rapid heartbeat while on Riba and Peg. In fact, it got pretty worrisome. My heart would beat fast even while just lying down. My GP had me do a stress test and all was fine. He chalked it up to the tx. My hgb dropped a lot in a short time. I was given Procrit. After that, the fast heartbeat was no longer a problem. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I awoke about an hour after falling asleep with a rapid heartbeat. This is not the first time this has happened; but it has been at least 6 months. And this was a problem for me postpartum. Anyway, my heart beat like crazy for about 10-12 minutes then calmed down after I took an aspirin and I concentrated on deep breathing. I had coffee about 4 hours before I went to bed and one glass of wine about 6 hours before I went to bed? I did eat some--not alot--of spicy food for dinner.
Avatar f tn I'm now 21weeks and for the past couple of weeks, every now and then I'll notice that my heart is beating faster than it should be for me to be doing something simple like jus lying down or taking a bath..is this normal?
Avatar n tn My 19 yr old daughter runs on a treadmill, and her heartbeat goes up to 180, with no other symptoms. Is this too high? Should I have her checked out? We have a family history of heart disease. She is healthy, although has fainted 3 times, not when exercising.

666921 tn?1254990618 I personally don't take antihistamine but just some advice I read that - antihistamine suppresses the immune system - never thought about it before - they work like steroids - some very good advice on another forum was - do not take antihistamine if you have lyme I am sure some of you already knew this but just thought I would mention it
6918915 tn?1395932871 Does anyone else have this and if so what can I do to help it? Every morning I get up and I eat a high protein and fiber breakfast and get my sons lunch ready. About an hour later I start getting a racing heart and it builds to the point that I can't stand up and I feel faint unless I lay down. Usually it takes about 30-45 min to go away and then I'm fine the rest of the day. But today it's really bad.

Avatar f tn I am a 25 yr old female and suffer from a rapid heart rate. At times my heart slows down to the point where i feel faint. I have had EKGs Echo and holter done but everything was normal. I had another episode last night where i was asleep and woke up because my heart started pounding and i had a funny feeling in my body. The doctors think it is stress but i am not sure. They want to do another holter on me but i worry that it will not show because these palpitations happen far apart.
Avatar n tn I went to a local 24 hour clinic over the past weekend, and had an EKG, chest x-ray, and blood drawn to test for thyroid and other problems - but they all checked out ok. This feeling will not go away though. I have been under a lot of stress with job hunting and finishing my Ph.D. but if it was a panic attack I'd be surprised because it's constant (the pulse rate never gets below 100) and it only gets worse when I move around.
Avatar n tn I'm a 31-year-old male, in reasonably good shape, with no history of heart disease in my family. About 12 days ago, I began to suffer from a rapid heartbeat; perhaps the best way to describe it is feeling as if I'd just done some light exercise - moving boxes around the basement or something. It was there when I woke up, and it would flare up periodically throughout the day, without anything to precipitate it.
Avatar f tn My daughter-in-law who is 23 weeks pregnant was told that the baby's heartbeat is 220. They are monitoring her with a high-risk specialist and a pediatric cardiologist. Over the last 3 weeks, the heartbeat has remained high, but stable. How dangerous is this? What are the odds of it damaging the baby's heart and/or the baby not making it? They have talked about Digoxin if the heartbeat goes up to 260. What would that mean for the mother's health?
Avatar n tn What kind were you taking?
1919174 tn?1520036023 when I take a long car ride which I do usually everyday for work I feel tingly arms and chest and feel like im going to faint. Avatar n tn t something else causing it and receive treatment if needed. You might want to try an antihistamine like Sudafed to see if it stops the problem. But be aware if your work requires random drug tests an antihistamine can cause you to fail it, so make sure you let the tester know you are taking it. I Hope This Helps Good Luck.

12498457 tn?1425603087 When the weather changes from winter to spring-like conditions, my seasonal allergies kick in full force. So, the pressure buildup and sneezing fits (6+ in rapid succession) get worse. Allergy meds only help so much leaving me miserable and hoping I don't have a massive pain episode at work. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on how to lessen the sneezing at least? With hopes that I'll be able to function at work until the end of March?
