Avatar f tn He was taken out by severe pain about 6 months ago when in his home country of Zimbabwe, he was found to have kidney stones and treated for them. The pain subsided for a while but then reoccurred when back in England. He has been to the doctors who sent him to a urinary tract specialist. They found he had swollen kidneys and liver, his tubes either side of his abdomen were swollen but they could find no obvious cause.

Avatar f tn In general, I think narcotics should only be used in addicts when they have acute pain like some post surgical pain that they know will go away in a few days. And even then, you need someone to hold your pills for you. I don't know how bad your pain is. Only you know that. BUT.....if you are serious about being clean, get another opinion. There are non-narcotic meds you could try. Good luck!

Avatar f tn Ladies is there anyone from Africa on this app? I stay in Gambia but I'm from Zimbabwe.
Avatar m tn This may describe why Sb is so successful when used with other antibiotics. I presume when used on triple therapy with other antibiotics it would be even better. Regardless, I don’t suggest anyone to try all sorts of antibiotics now with Sb because it doesn’t heal PATM permanently and will only cause resistance to those antibiotics. However, if anyone has used some of them before I would like to know what you’ve observed.
Avatar m tn Hie, I feel awful to say this but l committed one silly mistake when l recently travelled to Zimbabwe in Africa on a UN mission. I have a couple of friends l made in Zimbabwe and we had a night out at a bar and brothel in Harare 3 days ago. I had a couple of drinks and l danced with a prostitute. We went to the back rooms and l started to finger her. I usually bite my nails. I fingered her and then she got a condom and put it on me.
1028452 tn?1537448484 Like whether America should attack Iraq, whether Britain should lift sanction over Zimbabwe, whether to widen African economy, whether Sachin Tendulkar should retire etc. Do you know one thing, my wife NEVER objects to any of these".
Avatar m tn I had consumed alchohol before the encounter and forgot to make use of my own protection and therefore used the available protection which could have a) Expired b) Been tampered with c) Been kept under the wrong conditions d) Slipped during intercourse but not entirely e) Could have been removed with out proper care and infected parts of broken skin arround the area of infection. *Point being my protection FAILED.
Avatar f tn For the past few months I've not been feeling right. I've been suffering with headaches at the front side and the back of my head. Then I suffered with face pressure which was diagnosed as sinitus. I was then given antibiotics but nothing has changed. I've also been feeling dizzy, weak, sore throat, ear pressure, bowel problems, tummy ache, some chest pains, floaters in my vision and like my body isn't mine.
1315095 tn?1274293767 Tks 4 advise. It pretty much confirms what my gut is telling me and I am only 38 and have young children. I know I don't have high cholesterol. My heart specialist is in South Africa as I live in Zimbabwe we don't have the specialists here. I am going for a stress ecg this week in Zimbabwe so hopefully that will confirm what is going on and I will be in contact with my specialist. Our health insurance does not cover these trips to specialists so it's a difficult call.
Avatar m tn Actually oxygen therapy can be used in conjunction with antibiotic therapy or it can be used without antibiotics. Hopefully, you can reduce your dependency on immune suppression drugs. These drugs simply mask your condition by suppressing immune responses that try to destroy invader microbes.
Avatar m tn As case in point, use of expired antibiotics may result in you developing an anti-biotic resistant infection due to the degradation of effectiveness.
Avatar f tn Four months ago I received a blow job from a lady I met in a pub in Zimbabwe. I stopped under 1 minute. since then the idea that I caught hiv plays in my mind. I have been reading the internet and the low risk factor makes me calculate the probability of an infection without getting the answer. I had rash on my shoulders after 2 months. A mild cough and pain in my feet which alternate to cold feeling. Tested diabetes and was fine. Scared of facing the job test. Please help.
666921 tn?1254990618 It could be the sensory overload issue that people with these kind of issues get. At my worst there was something about the fluorescent lights in the grocery store that would affect me. As soon as I walked in my legs would feel weak. The car issue could be motion sickness. People with lyme are more prone to it. It's on the symptom list.
Avatar f tn Hi I looked this up, it used to be called Macrobid. It is just for bladder infections so that is good. If your doctor knows about your liver, I think this would be safe. I am not a doctor but I also have compensated cirrhosis and always worry about antibiotics. I learned that penicillin or penicillin family is the safest. In your case, it sounds like it is worth it to use it. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I was wondering if anyone has had any heart rhythm problems attributed to antibiotics. I have pvcs/pacs, all tests, ekg, echo has come back completely normal.
