Common Questions and Answers about Antibiotics used environment

antibiotics

Avatar m tn This may describe why Sb is so successful when used with other antibiotics. I presume when used on triple therapy with other antibiotics it would be even better. Regardless, I don’t suggest anyone to try all sorts of antibiotics now with Sb because it doesn’t heal PATM permanently and will only cause resistance to those antibiotics. However, if anyone has used some of them before I would like to know what you’ve observed.

Avatar f tn What I do in almost all kind of cases where medicine does not help is remove the one factor that causes any kind of inflammation in the body. Acidic environment. Foods that cause acidic environment is meat, milk and products, sugar, gluten. Eat food like peas, sweet potato, a hell lot of green leafs, brown rice, kinoa, buckwheat, red/black fruit etc.
Avatar n tn Yes. Antibiotics even reach the skin, which is why they are sometimes used for acne. When you kill good bacteria, yeast that is always there goes out of control. Take an internal probiotic once you are done with antibiotics. Natural products that fight yeast are tea tree oil, baking soda, white vinegar. You can use Lotrimin cream. Follow the directions on the tube.
Avatar f tn My eleven year old cat Pebbles has had cold symptoms all winter and she cannot seem to get rid of them. She had bronchitis a few months ago and had to take antibiotics for 2 weeks. The bronchitis went away but the cold symptoms will not go away. The vet has tried 2 different kinds of antibiotics, but it hasn't worked. Is there anything else out there that I can try?
Avatar f tn If you buy very high quality yogurt, usually organic ones in the health food stores, they will add live organisms back in after pasteurization, but even then, there are very few of them compared to the billions you get in a good quality refrigerated probiotic found in the refrigerated section of your best local health food store (shelf stable probiotic supplements probably have more dead than live organisms in them by the time you buy them, as these are living things that must either have food
Avatar m tn Hello, I've been asking this question before, but I'm still not sure about it. Let me just explain it. I have a 10ML Bottle of 1% Cyclopentolate Eye Drops. The bottle is opened, and I've been using it for 3 weeks, it has been standing on the table for 8 weeks now after I opened it. On the package is says 'Do not use 4 weeks after opening the bottle'. But it has been opened and used 8 weeks ago, since then it has stayed closed within the original package.
Avatar m tn Outside of buying anything to help alleviate your symptoms, it is very important to make sure your environment is as allergy free as possible. If this is a seasonal allergy period where you live, it is a time to take extra care to carefully dust (make sure the dust is captured and disposed of and not flying around - it would be best to have someone who does not have bad allergies dust for you), avoid strong chemical exposure and known food allergies.
Avatar m tn As case in point, use of expired antibiotics may result in you developing an anti-biotic resistant infection due to the degradation of effectiveness.
Avatar n tn Like any virus, there are no antibiotics that will get rid of it. You have to treat the animal with aggressive supportive care and hope that it outlasts the virus. There are going to be ups and downs as the dog's immune system tries to fight off the infection. Do you know where your dog was infected? Did you purchase or adopt an infected dog? I ask because parvo is a very hardy virus and can live in the environment for months.
Avatar f tn My question this a possible route of transmission of hepatitis virus?
Avatar m tn Early last week I had one canker sore in my mouth, I used Listerine (both with and without alcohol) as it reduces the pain of the sore. I used it rather compulsively, like 7-8 times a day. Later last week, I notice that the white coating at the back of the tongue is thick. I can scrap it off and it looks like old milk. Is it because of the use of Listerine that somehow change the environment in mouth? Is it because of any other disease? I have stopped Listerine use now.
666921 tn?1254990618 It could be the sensory overload issue that people with these kind of issues get. At my worst there was something about the fluorescent lights in the grocery store that would affect me. As soon as I walked in my legs would feel weak. The car issue could be motion sickness. People with lyme are more prone to it. It's on the symptom list.
Avatar f tn Hi I looked this up, it used to be called Macrobid. It is just for bladder infections so that is good. If your doctor knows about your liver, I think this would be safe. I am not a doctor but I also have compensated cirrhosis and always worry about antibiotics. I learned that penicillin or penicillin family is the safest. In your case, it sounds like it is worth it to use it. Good luck!
1413030 tn?1281825317 The only thing new in my environment is a pet turtle for my classroom. I wash my hands after picking it up and don't let children touch it. I used a different pillow last night that had been stored in a suitcase. This bump appeared in a location where the other bumps (for the last 3 years)have not appeared. Also, it is a lot bigger and does not itch; but is soar. Please let me know if you have any ideas what it is and how I can treat it.
Avatar f tn I was wondering if anyone has had any heart rhythm problems attributed to antibiotics. I have pvcs/pacs, all tests, ekg, echo has come back completely normal. Im just worried about taking a new medication,, afraid it may cause the palpitations to be worse, better yet cause a dangerous arrythmia!! Any advice would be great!!
Avatar n tn ) It has not responded at all to either jock itch or yeast infection medicines. There are two complications, one; I took a round of antibiotics about 1-2 weeks prior, 2; I do fish research so I can spend up to 30 hrs a week in waders (i.e. you are wet and clammy.) Both these would led me to guess a yeast infection but medicine for this has had 0 effect. What else could it possibly be??
Avatar f tn Sinus infection is a common result of the flu. Your body fighting off the flu creates a hostile environment. Antibiotics won't cure the flu, but they will cure the sinus infection that the flu created.
Avatar n tn I haven't used coconut oil for a uti but its great for its antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal properties. Same with olive leaf extract.
Avatar f tn Since there was no one else in the toilet so to wipe my pee I took a small piece of paper that was on top of the trash can, it was dry but probably used. Then I realized what a stupid thing I did and now I´m worried that I could´ve got some STD (bacterial mainly). Should I go to a doctor? Thank you for your answer.

Avatar n tn It's very rare that the baby will get sick because of the antibiotics administered during labour and delivery.
Avatar n tn d be looking at that.....Did she get any better on Antibiotics.....For Inner Ear, combination antibiotics are used to break the blood/bone barrier and actually reach the deep seeded infection....They have to be given for quite a few weeks... Medications for nausea are usually given for Vertigo or Vestibular Disease....These do help the dog feel much better....It's my understanding that Vestibular Disease will run it's course in about 6 wks......It may be different, now...
