I have been able to clear and heal the wound and have been dosing him with amoxicillin. He seems to have an allergy to this antibiotic as I have discovered hes been throwing up in the basement. Exactly - the med is the same, the strength is the same - the pack is just an easier way for your doctor to prescribe it rather than actually figuring out how many pills to prescribe - and also probably easier on the pharmacy for them not having to write out all the instructions on dosing.

I have a small dog (11lbs) and she was recently at the vet for an injury to her head and other lacerations from another dog. I always worry about over dosing because of her size. She was given 0.30 cc Rimadyl 0.80 cc Buprenex 2.00mg Dexamethasone 1.50cc Amoxicillin. I questioned the vet about this because of the Buprenex with a head injury and more pain meds when she had not even woken up at any time before she passed.
Tylenol is unveiling new maximum dosage instructions for paracetamol or acetaminophen in the US. The new instructions state a maximum total daily of 3,000 mg versus the old maximum of 4,000 mg. Hello,On or about June the 8th I engaged in about 10 second of insertion vaginally(No condom so I stopped).I stopped ejaculate, to an amoxicillin bathed and left.Weeks later I find out that the lady's in jail and was on drugs! You don't need to go to anyone for medical help, but try to read the instructions more carefully. Over a longer term such a misunderstanding could cause problems. Usually the 50,000 unit dose is "once a week" for non-compliant patients who don't remember to take their pills.
I went to the dentist 3 days ago she said there is nothing they can do until i finish antibiotic treatment so she prescribed to me 875mg of amoxicillin + 125mg of clavulanate EVERY 8 HOURS. I pretty much been in extreme tooth pain and to add to that every time i take this i get pretty bad stomach pain i describe it as the empty feeling you have when you don't eat anything but x10, so i did some searching and i could not find anywhere saying 875mg every 8 hours i only saw every 12 hours.
I had to have a root canal redone as my previous dentist did not get the whole nerve and it became infected. The Dentist put me on amoxicillin 875mg twice a day, after 6 days I called him as it was having no effect. he then put me on clyndamycin 300mg twice a day, this is day two, it seemed better this morning and by this afternoon it isswelling slightly the tissue above my tooth is spongie again and I can tell it's filling with pus.

Yes. But like all OTC drugs follow the dosing instructions on the bottle and don't use it too many days in a row. With my last pregnancy I got so big and uncomfortable at the end I would never had gotten any sleep if it wasn't for a little benedryl once in a while lol.
