329994 tn?1301663248 I am hoping that someone on here has taken it and can tell me what they think. I am mostly concerned about the side effects of chest pain and shortness of breath. As a heart patient, I do not like those side effects. Any advice would be great. Thank you!
Avatar f tn I know anxiety can cause shortness of breath, but in my later pregnancy I got shortness of breath all the time!
Avatar f tn Shortness of breath can happen for lots of reasons. Sometimes it can happen because a person is breathing too fast, called hyperventillation. This can happen when people have panic attacks, and are very worried or anxious. Sometimes people also have tingly fingers when this happens. Sometimes shortness of breath can also be from serious medical problems.
Avatar n tn Hi, for the past 9 days I have had constant shortness of breath. It started with a dry cough, tightness in the chest and shortness of breath but now it's pretty much just the shortness of breath. I also am constantly burping and I feel as if I have a lump stuck in my throat. I have had a chest x-ray, ekg, blood tests and a CT angiogram of my chest done. Everything came out normal.
Avatar n tn I did. The shortness of breath started already in the second week of treatment, so I don't think it is solely an anemia issue. The chest pains came later, around week six. I was a little worried for a while, but after a few weeks they went away. During these weeks my haemoglobin levels did go down, but not below 11. Try to rest and take it easy, and get checked as others said. It's probably nothing to worry about, and normal for tx.
Avatar f tn m currently 9 weeks pregnant but when my hubby runs my back the shortness of breath goes away but it comes back like 20 to 30 minutes later I'm not sure if it's due to me being pregnant or what it's kinda freaking me out I do smoke and I am really wanting to quit
Avatar m tn Shortness of breath is a common symptom that can be caused by a long list of possible underlying problems. The safest course of action would be to see your physician. Your doctor can take a careful history, conduct a physical exam, and then order appropriate tests. Without any additional information, it would not be possible to answer your question in an accurate manner.
Avatar f tn I felt that way at the point you are at my OB said it happens sometimes plus the fatigue of pregnancy. Shortness of breath comes at some point in pregnancy, some earlier than others. I would mention it to your OB next time you see them but unless you are dizzy, light headed feeling faint from the shortness of breath I wouldn't worry too much.
4524318 tn?1355879252 do u have a doctor to go to and get checked? Shortness of breath, ie...loss of breath or difficulty breathing.. while climbing stairs or ambulating short distances is often from COPD/a lung disease often affecting smokers.. or heart issues...
338416 tn?1420045702 I've heard a lot of people talk about having shortness of breath. I wanted to pick your brains on this forum and see if you've heard about it being related to MS. I have recurring mild shortness of breath, best described as 'air hunger.' It's one of those things that comes and goes, like the bladder, the weak leg and the sleepy hands, so I think it must be neurological.
Avatar n tn aweeonetolove - I had that same shortness of breath while teaching today, too! I was also REALLY hot in my class today, too- I posted about my symptoms in the symptoms thread just a minute ago, but I did get that shortness of breath today and it was really frusturating - hopefully that symptom won't last long.
Avatar f tn The first doctor’s suggestion of the diagnosis of Hyperventilation, in the face of “tingling on my hands and arms”, is reasonable but the recurrent shortness of breath is worrisome and you should be reevaluated for other causes of shortness of breath, some more serious, most notably recurrent blood clots to the lungs (pulmonary emboli) . You also mention that your “heart was racing” yesterday, on your way to the train.
Avatar n tn why do i have shortness of breath and tiredness 10 weeks after arthoscopic shoulder surgery
Avatar f tn I'm 27 weeks and I feel like I can't breath right. I've had shortness of breath before but right now it's just really bad. I'm kinda freaking out is it normal? In any position I get its as bad!!
10389360 tn?1410823968 Had constant shortness of breath from about 15 weeks till about 32-33 weeks my baby was really high up. Since then(I'm 36 weeks) have had it only twice. Once the baby lowered a bit it's pretty much dissapeared!
Avatar f tn Yes it is.
Avatar f tn I've had shortness of breath since about 20 weeks, would happen when i wasn't doing anything at all rather than when i exerted myself. Getting it at this stage is much more normal for the obvious reason of the enormous babies pressing against our insides lol. I've been dealing with it by sitting down and taking deep calm breaths until it passes. If you panic and take shallow quick breaths you might start feeling dizzy, then panicking more, and it all gets worse!
Avatar f tn Anyone else have a lot of shortness of breath throughout their pregnancy? It doesn't take much exertion. Sometimes it even happens when I'm resting. I'm retaining a lot of fluid. I've increased my iron intake which helped initially but the breathlessness only seems to get worse.
Avatar f tn Yeah I know what you mean I get the shortness of breath, it helps if my window is open and im propped up a bit
Avatar f tn Hi im 33 weeks pregnant with my son and im having shortness of breath... is that normal??
Avatar f tn No because it happens to me the I'm 6weekes b I still smoke but jus a lil
Avatar f tn I've been having shortness of breath since I was around 15 weeks. You know the same feeling when your bundle is about 30+weeks. I'm 23 weeks... does any other mommas have similar issues? so far my bp is fine. He also seems to be really high. Like my boobs rest on my baby belly...
Avatar f tn Ftm 28 weeks... does anyone else have issue with shortness of breath? I randomly feel this way and often times I am not going anything but sitting at my desk or on the dinner table.
