Aldara kills

Common Questions and Answers about Aldara kills

Avatar n tn My question is, once this virus is gone, like all the symptoms have disappeared, would we still be able to get it again since both of us probably carry the virus now? Or since the aldara kills the virus through the root will theyjust never come again? Or will I have out breaks every so often? That's what I'm afraid of.
Avatar m tn Welcome to the STD forum. When a health professional diagnoses warts, usually s/he is correct; and you would not have been prescribed Aldara (which is what I think you mean by "Valdera") for anything else. Therefore, if your anal "skin tags" look and feel like what you had before, then most likely your anal warts have recurred. This is very common, especially in women and gay men, but also not rare in exclusively heterosexual men.

Avatar n tn All effective treatments against warts work by causing inflammation that kills the wart tissue. Anything less irritating than podofilox (Condylox) probably won't work as well. I have never heard of Viranol or Goodbye Wart, cannot comment on them.
Avatar m tn Please remember that freezing is very non-specific therapy in which the freezing kills/destroys the cells that are frozen and as the involved cells die, healthy normal cells re-grow and replace them. That your lesions go away doesn't really tell you what these are. 3. Thus you need a diagnosis. Several possible approaches - if you have been seeing your regular doctor about this, I would suggest that you are now see a dermatologist who might do a biopsy which could be definitive.
Avatar n tn Only the smallest fraction of persons with HPV get cancer and the fraction of men who get cancer of the penis from HPV is orders of magnitude smaller than the portion of women who get cancer and precancerous lesions. AS for your warts, if you do not want Aldara or chemicals, the best thing to do is see a dermatologist who can freeze, laser or excise the lesions. Any of these are one step processes which will end the problem of the visible warts. Penile cancer.
Avatar n tn I have tried -Doctor applied acids -Dozens of doctor freezings -many self freezings -Candida antigen injections -Duct tape for months -Aldara -50% salicyclic acid (self applied) The only thing that seems to be left is bleomycin which my doctor is unwilling to do. She said I could be left with a hole in my foot.
Avatar f tn Thanks for the info frank, did you also use aldara on your genital warts? I have it now, and doctor told me to apply it twice a week for 16 weeks, i hope these genital warts would be gone soon, I have a question, if these warts are gone, is still there any chances to infect your new partner? I am new to all these, I hate that I trusted the wrong one before. I felt like dying inside having these sufferings.
