Avatar n tn I walk 5-6 days a week and do a yoga class once a week. Occasionally I'll add in some light weights for upper body but that's about all I can handle while I'm pregnant. I couldn't do anything for the first 4 months so I'm making up for now while I can :-) I think I might start swimming on weekends in the next month or so because my belly is getting huuuge and it's getting hotter here in Oz!

I'm so ready to have my son and end all the aching! Anyone else close to my due date and feeling the same? It just hit me today out of no where!
Avatar f tn I would suggest you to go for an X-ray and rule out any other bony involvement and follow up with an orthopedician for a proper diagnosis. You need to stop lifting of weights and also stop active upper body exercises involving your chest till properly diagnosed and treated. Take intermittent pain killers. Take care!

I have had x-rays, blood tests and an ultrasound but no MRI yet. I feel like it's most likely bad muscle tearing or other injury from the workouts as everything else came up negative.

Avatar m tn I was always the same shape! I used to run and do upper-body strength training 3-4 days a week but couldn't change my body shape. But then I started doing circuit training and using a stationary bike. I also upped my workouts to 5-6 days a week. And let me tell you--the stomach melted off. I used to have a 32 inch waist and 38 inch hips, and now I have a 28 inch waist and 39 inch hips. Now I'm an hour glass and have a much flatter stomach.
Avatar f tn curls, overhead press, seated rows, tri kickbacks and push ups for upper body, and squats, step ups with kick, deadlift, calf raises, and lunges for lower body. Generally 3 sets of 15 for everything. Limited to 20lbs as directed by midwife, but it feels good to stay fit!

Anyways, since i lost all this weight, my body has changed and i'm much thinner but sadly i still have some untone muscle and skin on my stomach and little flubber on my upper upper inner thighs. Daily I run anywhere from 3-6 miles and i do three sets of crunches, "russian twists", planks, and lunges.
Avatar f tn Same situation as you! Don't listen to all this dieting crap. There are se fab ab workouts on YouTube or just make up some of your own! Cut out lots of sugar but don't deprive youself! On demand also has some workouts you'll love.

I was doing my workouts 4 times a week upper body Monday, lower , day off, upper, lower then two days off. Now I'm doing Saturday, Sunday and Monday off, Upper, day off, lower body , upper than 3 days off.Any Idea what is causing the problem? FYI, I am female, 55 years old and 19% body fat. I also do treadmill 20 min after and I stretch 1 hour before each workout.

Avatar n tn For the last two weeks, I have been experiencing a form of vibrations in my left chest. It happens off and on, but it has become more frequent. I do work out with a trainer and the last couple of weeks we've been doing more upper body workouts with pullies and weights. I've stopped the training this last week, and I still feel very uncomfortable. The vibrations cause me to feel irritable and shaky and I've become very tired these last couple of days.

We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..

Avatar f tn On the day I fainted, I remember being so mad and I was in the middle of a heated argument with one of my classmates and the anger that I felt was then ffollowed with an odd shaking of my entire body, my chest ached and my headached. It was hard to breathe and it felt as if I choked on air and my left hand was shaking like crazy and then I blacked out. A lot of test had been done. Blood tests, MRI scan and heart scan but everything was okay except for my ECG.

Im 34 and a white male. Basically, I have very uncomfortable tension in my chest that also makes it hard to breath...kind of like I no longer feel myself breathing, and it feels hard to breath all the way in.

Plus it doesn't look like you're working out, just dancing. Don't let anyone keep you down. You'll get to your goal weight! I believe in you! Same with you morgan1342.
Avatar m tn When she undress i didnt see any cut or wound from her body .she only skin contacted me with her upper front body -chest and stomach. I might have got that scratch before or after the incident . What is my risk? Is there any risk when that scratch contacted with her skin during rubbing ? if her skin was bleeding or any bodily fluid i might get from her? what is the chance if both of our skin broken and contacted ? Is this consider as casual contact? Should i go for blood test?
Avatar m tn I did also find one or two on my forehead this time and some scattered across my upper chest but nothing as bad as the first time two months ago. I have not taken any new medications and my blood work all looked good. The first time( 2 months ago) the only thing that may have triggered it was a hot yoga class?? I have ruled out body products, etc due to the fact that i found one on my forehead.. Main intern doctor says stress and my anxiety play a big part in them.
