workout

Avatar f tn For example do a giant set of crunches, reverse crunches and side jackknifes. This means you do one set of as many crunches as you can, then do as many reverse crunches and follow that with side jackknifes. Repeat the cycle or giant set three times. Cardiovascular Exercise Adding cardiovascular exercise before bed can help you to burn belly fat. Cardio works even better if you do it immediately after resistance or body weight training.
Avatar f tn How many crunches would be a good normal amount to lose weight. Also my Diet is really good but what about other excercises? I do crunches I have a five pound weighted ball that I lay on my back and I throw it up and catch it about 250-400 times twice daily I was doing too many crunches (up to 2000 daily) I do leg excersises and lifts and what not but very little is showing on the scale.
Avatar f tn I have been doing crunches as part or my work out six days a week. My back can't lay flat so I do it on the bed. Am I making my back worse? It's really painful to do them on the floor. I have less back pain since I've started exercising regularly but when I skip a day my lower back hurts a lot(nerve problems).
Avatar f tn and the problem is that i need to tone my stomach. I really want to lose my belly fats. Is there any tips and like exersice to lose my belly fats? :) Thanks.
Avatar n tn When I do abdominal workout, such as crunches, I can feel and hear my stomach sloshing around. It seems to have no side effects other then discomfort when I do crunches, the occasional burp, and I get tired quickly. It seems to occur regardless of if I just ate. I workout in the morning, not having eaten in 12 hours, and it still happens. I workout an hour after I just ate, still happens. This is impeding my workout progress and I have no idea why it is occuring.
Avatar f tn In conjunction to cardio, crunches (front and side crunches) and weight lifting will build lean muscle and speed your metabolism. The more disciplined you are, the faster you will see results. All the best.
Avatar f tn I wouldn't do crunches. But you can generally do anything you did prior to pregnancy unless you're having complications. I knew a girl who ran a mile every morning throughout her pregnancy. She's pg again and still running and going to the gym. If you're worried you can do prenatal yoga or other exercises geared towards pregnant women or low impact workouts.
Avatar f tn I have a pretty average body but I was an extremely flat stomach but I beyond hate crunches. Does anyone have amy belly fat burning tips for me I'm trying to get it as flat as I can in a month before my weekend trip with my boyfriend.
Avatar n tn I am a very active person, I workout 5 days a week. Is it okay to do sit ups as part of my workout routine?
850661 tn?1245666056 I was once told that if you are pregnant you can still work out, but it is different workout. You are not working out to loose weight, you are working out to keep toned. They told me not to work too hard on the legs and build up muscle as it can make for a tougher delivery. Walking or a light run on a treadmill is still ok - just do what you can handle - same with the stepper. I would be ignoring the stomach crunches and the flat out run.
616227 tn?1251076398 BUT, just to make you happy, Skailark, I did crunches with bicycle legs - even though I did my regular 100 crunches yesterday in class. Yep, I'm gonna just love you tomorrow, Sergeant! FYI: It's okay to work abs EVERY DAY, but not other muscle groups. The instructor I had yesterday is heavy on legs, so we did tons of lunges and squats - and I was toting a 12lb body bar.
446650 tn?1257611215 Why is it that when I do my ab workout I begin spotting like I am on my monthly cycle? Sorry Guys!
Avatar f tn s due the 9th of March what can i do to have a small enough tummy to wear a swim suit by August diet pills are not an option read they not good for the baby anyone with tips please give me your opinions planning on taking my little soldier with me ;-)
Avatar f tn Jogging a mile every other day, crunches and some ab workout videos. Also started a plank challenge around the same time. After a few days, my stomach was sore to be expected but since then, I've been getting these weird stomach cramps that lasted a few days. All day yesterday, my stomach felt fine until I jogged a mile at lunch. About an hour later, my stomach feels tight right under my navel and there is this consistent dull ache.
Avatar n tn When I did crunches I always put my fingertips behind my ears without any pressure. Your abs should be the only thing working your body during an ab routine. So definitely try again but maybe try a more recent workout. There's a GREAT ab workout routine at s park p eople (no spaces) and the trainer will talk to you about how to do them without straining your neck. Good luck!
773214 tn?1295135069 I don't have a video or anything, but I hit the gym 3 days a week. I just do some light cardio (making sure I am never short of breath) and mini crunches on an exercise ball, and them some light weights on machines (they aren't very heavy so that I strain, but I do lots of repetitions so that I can still feel the burn). I have been going this whole time through even my last pregnancy and I think it helps me with the symptoms.
Avatar f tn Other than that if i get a burst if energy I walk a mile, planks, standing crunches, leg raises, and do a few things I found online. I searched up safe exercises and safe ab excersis. Yoga and streching is also really good.
1141709 tn?1329402332 I exercise with a personal trainer twice a week. We do crunches and squats and weight lift machines. Of course I will stop working out hard if I get pregnant, but is this safe to do during the two week wait after ovulation? Will it affect implantation? I never get too overheated, but I definitely use my stomach and leg muscles to moderate exhaustion. (Has anyone asked their doc about this? I am in Uruguay and my English speaking doc is away until June.
Avatar m tn ve noticed this time around that I get slight blurriness of vision sometimes when I exercise (Apparent when doing extensive crunches or lifting heavily) but this goes away after a short amount of time. Yesterday I drank a Monster Energy Drink 1 or 2 hours before my workout, which I did not bring any water to. Sure enough the blurry vision came back, but it remained for a while longer. I got home, quickly hydrated myself, ate some food, had some vitamin C and took a cold shower.
