Back when I was 14-17 I would join my father in the gym, but his trainer gave me different things to do to just be fit and toned. I do have some equipment at my house and my husband works crazy hours so we can't just go to a gym. Plus, I would like to look semi-decent to be able to even show up at a gym. (Yea, I've let myself go that bad.

Avatar f tn If you work your upper body on Mondays then on Tuesdays do your lower body and Wed. upper and Thur. lower. You want to work each body part at least 3x per week. Start off easy and slowly increase the weights or reps.

Avatar f tn My doctor is very supportive and an advocate for pregnant women to workout. All she said was to lower the amount of weight being lifted and that's it. Otherwise keep your cardio/activity to exactly where it was before being pregnant.

12981378 tn?1440334797 Did a full body workout, from barbell over head press, bench with weights sumo squats, kettle bell squats, smith machine, kettle ball swings, pushup burpies and some other all free weights and the bike for 2 miles on hills n 3 mile fast walked inclined on 10, yet no damn contractions. Not even a HB.. WTH! I'm 37 weeks I should at least feel something. ..

Avatar f tn If you are just starting out, lift the lower body upward using the knees. Your body should be a straight line between your shoulders and knees. As you get stronger, instead of lifting with your knees, you can lift with your feet. Hold the position for about 60 seconds. Tighten your core the entire time. Work up to completing this movement two to three times during your workout session. If need be google these exercises to see how they are done! Get the OK from your doctor first!!

A couple nights ago my body started aching and I just thought it was because of this workout that I'm doing because it is pretty intense. So I go to sleep and keep waking up throughout the night and the next morning I have an extremely bad headache, my entire body aches, and I have a cough.

Avatar f tn Lately, I have been running almost everyday or do a short workout in the house. It is followed by intense pain in my lower stomach similar to the pains I get during my menstrual cramps. This pain occurs though when I am not on my period. Sometimes after running a mile it is so intense I have to lay down until it goes away. The pain usually doesn't last more than 10 min. The more intense the workout the more intense the pain. It does not feel like it is a type of muscle pain.
Avatar m tn I am a little bit active, I go to kick boxing class twice a week , workout class once a week and I do treadmill for 30 mins and I just started doing Boxing in my Nintendo WII everyday for 30 mins .. In conclusion I go to the GYM probably 4 days . I have been doing that for 4 weeks but I haven't loose weight or loose any fat from my body. About my eating I do eat 80% healthy , I need to improve my eating so lately I have been doing the 4 meals a day with low calories .

In conjunction to cardio, crunches (front and side crunches) and weight lifting will build lean muscle and speed your metabolism.
