t sign up for the vision plan because I have plenty of contacts, so decided to sign up during enrollment in January, but I did sign up for Medica health insurance. Now I have a growth in the corner of my eye. Not on the eyeball but in the way corner next to the nose. It is red, doesn't hurt or itch, is just super annoying because it touches by eye sometimes and feels like some eye boogers and I constantly want to rub it away.
i was diagnosed last may to be vdrl positive ( was applying for work for OMAN), my tpha was negative....a doctor specialist treated me for three weeks ( 3 saturdays), injection of antiboitic....however i have another checklast september but my vdrl is still positive....what will i do next for me to get negative result so that i will be able to work in abroad...work is still open for me until i will pass the vdrl result..( OMAN very strict on VDRL and TPHA)...need advise on what to do...
Ok, so about myself, I live and work in Oman, on the 15th of July, 2012. I had protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral sex from a CSW in Oman. I took two 4th generation tests (27 days & 20 weeks from incident ---- both negative results) both from Zack Medical Center, Dubai.
My question is, Has anyone taken a HIV test at this particular clinic and has anything changed during the government process.
I am even considering taking a third test in Oman, albeit a risk factor is involved.
I chucked it up to my anxiety as I had a bad bout of it at that time. Now I feel as though the vision in that eye is not as good, almost like I lost some peripheral vision. Does this sound serious or just a coincidence? Is my anxiety perhaps triggering the visual disturbance as well?
My insurance for eye care kicks in on the 1st of the Year so I will be getting an eye exam.
Any insight (no pun here ) would be appreciated.
10 yrs of taking percs i thought i knew all the side effects and in and outs of the drugs i was/am taking but my teeth r startin to decay and crack very easilly.....im startin to hear things that state this in an effect of the drugs. Has anyone else heard of this godawfull downside to being a pill "abuser"?? or expierienced this first hand.

I am looking for suggestions as to how to make my case with the insurance carrier that this is not a one time event but a chronic condition that if not treated would result in a loss of vision. Just as MD would result in a similar outcome without treatment. I would appreciate input as I put together my appeal.

Hello all! I haven't posted in a while but knew I could come here for support. I am undx with one spinal cord lesion that was discoved last fall and, as of this past Friday, looks like I have a brain lesion to go along with it :( I have no clue where the brain lesion is but on Saturday night I started noticing that when it gets dark I am seeing flashes of light in the outer left corner of my eye. It seems to only happen when I move my eye to far but, none the less, it is still there.
Next day,my first clinc( positive elisa) sent to HIV/ADIS department in my country to ministry of Health- central department that control AIDS in oman, again i was stressfull for 3 days till my result , then they called me to collect my report with NEGATIVE elisa, thank the god, and they told me my first result was cross reacting as my flu van.
1-Now dr, should i get marrage after this scenario, and forget it because i feel i could not forget first test.
Also, see if there is a birth center near you. I know our local BC has options for families with no insurance. The total out of pocket to deliver there and be seen throughout the pregnancy is about $4500 compared to 3x that amount about the hospital.

Your daughter may not need the glasses if she has equal vision in both eyes, and no sign of esotropia (eye turning in). I would insist that your insurance cover a visit with a pediatric ophthalmologist for a complete exam. A prescription in a child of this age has to be obtained after the pupils are dilated and the focusing muscles are relaxed.
I was told recently that I probly have Ms by my DR waiting on insurance to kick in to do test . She is about 99.99% sure. Lately I have been experiencing blurry vision and sometimes the only way to make it better is to squint so they are almost closed then I can sorta clear it up.IS this common with MS ? AND also Iam realy stiff a lot lately hard to put my shoes on in the morning and retaining a lot of water noticed a lot of swelling in my ankles and legs.

Not on any meds, no other symptoms of ms other than I have noticed a slight decrease in vision the last month (no double vision or blindness) but then again my glasses are 10 years old. No coordination or walking problems. Does this sound familiar to anyone dx with MS or would the symptoms be more pronounced and more of the typical symptoms be present if it was MS? My insurance doesnt kick in until mid Dec so trying to get some thoughts on it now.
