980644 tn?1248473327 I had a severe head injury in 2005 that completely crushed my right eye socket.Upon healing I've had very bad double vision to the point I'm afraid to even drive.I can see ok when looking down such as when I'm on the computer but anything above that I have double vision. My optometrist said that it could possibly be surgically corrected but I don't have the resources for that.Is there any place I could turn to for help?
Avatar f tn I have no medical insurance and I have an agressive cataract in my right eye that has made me legally blind in that eye. Does anyone know what the range of actual cost of cataract surgery sans insurance payments is. It would be mono focal and only the one eye. Any information would be appreciated.
Avatar n tn I've heard that delta airlines and Hilton hotels offer work from home as well as Apple. However, Apple is very difficult to get in. Good luck, darlin!
Avatar f tn I bought the Delta Canton 4 in 1 crib. Have not set it up yet but did a lot of research and it has very good reviews. Helpful hint, I bought it from Walmart. I am typically VERY against buying anything from there but they had the exact same crib at Babies R Us and Nebraska Furniture Mart for $90 more than Walmart.

Avatar n tn Does your state offer any assistance. I live in Ma and its mandatory to have health insurance, you get fined if you don't and employers must offer it. The state helps to get you health insurance with consideration of your income. If I were you I'd be concerned. You almost had a seizure in the shower! What if you hit or head on the tub or when you were trying to get out?
Avatar m tn I never offer opinions about insurance, nor what Medicare will/will not pay for.
535822 tn?1443976780 It appears that the US carrier Delta has a ban on Jews flying on their planes to Saudi Arabia ..and dont pack a bible or wear a cross..what next ...this was put on the BBC news today.its also all over the internet ..
Avatar m tn My mom told me I have dental insurance with "delta." And I think you misunderstood. The tooth that underwent the root canal still has its normal color, whilst this greying tooth in the front is painless.
290867 tn?1333569278 You can also purchase policies through outside insurance carriers. In Massachusetts it just went into effect that every resident HAS to have health insurance or you lose your tax exemption. Fortunately I have very good insurance at my job as does my husband but if we didn't, we would have to go the other route. I have seen some companies adverstising as little as 150 a month to get a tailor made policy to suit your needs. I would search the internet and look into it to see what you can find.
Avatar f tn This will be covered under your health insurance - not your vision plan because you are not being see for glasses but rather for a medical problem - blurred vision and sore, tired, dry eyes. Again this should be covered under your medical insurance just as if you went to your primary care doctor for a cold. It's a medical problem. Again, your story does not suggest optic neuritis to me.
Avatar n tn No, you didn't expose anyone. The masks and the ten-second contact were both protective.
Avatar f tn Thank YOU both for getting back to me. Here's the problem, please what do you think? After my sleep study for plms, which I do not have because my legs kick way before I go into a deep sleep and wake me up every 20 min to 1 hour, continues to kick for 45 min, and the process repeats. The sleep study came back and the doc said I had insomnia, I said you've got to be kidding, did you look at the video?
Avatar n tn I'd go see a doctor bud. I wish I could offer more.
Avatar m tn Also do i need to be worried about the borderline delta virus ? what does the the delta virus test mean ?
Avatar f tn My job don't offer insurance
Avatar f tn Yes you do, here in the UK we have the nhs so we don't have to pay, but other countries like US don't have nhs they have health insurance instead so, like with our car insurance, if u don't have insurance or ur insurance doesn't cover it then u have to pay
1365830 tn?1277997291 You should check with your local department of social services. Most states have a program specifically for pregnancy. Many of those programs can be used to supplement your private health insurance. I have private health insurance that is actually pretty decent as far as covereage but becuase we hadn't met the deductible for the year when i found out I was pregnant it would have been a lot of out of pocket cost so I applied for medicaid and it was approved.

Avatar f tn I am 20 weeks and have been looking at this crib. I believe delta makes it and it's one of those 3in1 convertible beds and has a changing table.
Avatar f tn My ekg has come back with a Delta wave. I get palpitations on a fairly regular basis. My resting heart rate is around 46 - 50 bpm. My cholesterol is 160. Bad 100.6 Good 60, triglycerides 24. I am very worried about this Delta wave. I have no arrythmias, am active, no heart disease runs in the family that I know of. I weigh 140, and am 5'7". Should I be worried about going to see the electrophysiologist.
Avatar f tn well, a palp. just means you feel your heart. but this also means somehting is going on in your heart rythm that causes the palp. feeling. If your not feeling dizzy or faint, and no chest pain, or short of breath.. I wouldn't get too worked up. First let me explain the p q r s and t wave on an ecg... P wave, is when the sa node fires the electrical impulse to beat, then this signal travels down through the heart causing all the chambers of the heart to contract in order.

Avatar m tn It turned out that they had a rare mutation called Delta 32 that blocks a molecule in HIV from adhering to the cell surface. Delta 32 must be inherited from both parents; it occurs at a rate of roughly 1 percent in European populations (it's more common in Northern Europe and much much, rarer--basically unheard of--in Africa and Asia), so it was difficult but not impossible for the doctors to find a donor in Germany who fit the bill.
