seroquel lawsuit info

It was another forum that I got the info about Seroquel. On this forum someone was talking about there being a tort action lawsuit against the makers of Seroquel. That it is causing excessive weight gain, diabetes, very high blood pressure in people taking this antipsychotic. I am wanting to know further about these complications caused by Seroquel. My 28 year old son has been on this med for approximately 4 years now. He has gained a lot of weight on it.

google it jen..it is for bi-polar and manic depression...it can make you sleepy. it says not to take it with heart or blood pressure meds.

I am addicted to opiates....any and all. I always accept responsibilty for my own actions and I guess this should be no different. But, I feel torn. When I met my fiance, I had NO CLUE about his opiate addiction. Well, he had been clean for a year or so. He said he was taking "oxy" and up to eating 40 vicodin a day. Mind you, I was floored.

I started Seroquel for aleep a month ago but then it started to help lift my mood so my doc kept me on it. I can't tell you how good I feel. It takes a few days to get past the grogginess it causes I take it at night and I'm done-straight to bed. But the days are good now. I also take Abilify which also worked wonders but Seroquel gave me an unexpected boost in my mood. I 'm going to stay on it as long as the doc lets me.

If you google tramadol, check out the wikipedia info as it will give you a lot of information. This drug is POISON in my book (tramadol was my DOC for over 6 years). Getting off the tramadol was the BEST decision of my life. Good luck to you!

Mostly for sleep I've just seen Ambien prescribed, not Seroquel. If you were prescribed this for other reasons pre-treatment I'd imagine they will keep you on any meds that don't conflict with the efficacy of the interferon or riba. I haven't read anything about it causing any negative effects - did you ask your doctor?

i am currently taking 80mg beta blockers, 30mg remeron and 100mg seroquel. they are all very sedating (although i hav problems sleeping also). i am in my final year of college and need to be alert but i find it impossible to get up in the mornings and concentrate on studying. i cut out the seroquel for 2 days and i was overcome with anxiety. my stomach was filled with butterflies and it was churning. i couldnt study which made me panic.. so clearly i need the seroquel.

They were of little benefit. Recently my MD. gave me some samples of 50 mg. of Seroquel XR. After reading the info with the medication, it says Seroquel is prescribed for bi-polar disorder. In my case I don't get the up or manic phase. I was hoping that this medication may be helpful for depression alone. Anyone who takes Seroquel that can give me some insight will be much appreciated.

Is Seroquel XR 50mg 2tabs 2x a day the equivalent of Seroquel 100mg 2x a day?

Ive been on seroquel and amitriptylne for abt 6 yrs now. They suddenly stopped working so i quit them. Over the last 6 months ive tried every med out there for sleep and nothing has helped. Ive had severe insomnia since i was a child. Anyways ive tried various antipsychotics through my psychiatrist. The most recent one i tried was olanzapine. The thing is, i only took 2 doses and right away i got muscle spasms and tics through my entire body. I came off it.

I have taken seroquel since I was 17 and I am now 24. Usually a doctor will start you off on a lower dose from 25 mg to 100 mg. It makes you really sleepy so don't drive. But it does help with anxiety and insomnia and bad dreams. I am now at 600 mg. Over long periods of time u will get immune to lower doses. I take seroquel xr which is extended release where u take it at night and the benefits last all day. Not just at night. U won't be sleepy all day, just at night when u first take it.

It seems that a LARGE number of women who have had a Tram Flap procedure are experiencing similar symptoms up to many years post surgery. You can see this on various websites throughout the internet. Perhaps it is time for further investigation to be done with regards to a common denominator in all of these women and tram flap surgery. Could it be the mesh over time affecting the immune system? There has been a recall on surgical mesh.

does anyone have info about long term use of seroquel and how it affects you? my hubby tried to stop taking it and got all messed up. they are 50mg xr. thanks.

I would like to be a part of this lawsuit since I have been doing nothing but itching since I bought the secret embrace. I already been to the doctor with a rash and two small bruises due to the bra. The itching has not subsided as of yet and is keeping me up at night!

Im currently taking effexor and seroquel, started off with prozac, then Mirtazapine think its also reffered to as zispin this was good for helping me sleep and also gave me a false appetite as i wasnt eating but didnt really help my bipolar. There was 1 more i was on but cant remem the name, hope this helps a bit.

s an antipsychotic called Seroquel which also is a good mood stabilizer. You sound stressed and a bit incoherent. Everyone of course gets angry and that can often be a part of bipolar but it sounds as if something is really wrong. That shouldn't be happenning with a full dose of Seroquel. Perhaps you speak to your psychiatrist.

How safe is 200 milligrams of seroquel while pregnant and nursing? Also, is it dangerous to cut the pills in half to take a lesser dose? Or should you cut or break the pills at all?

ve tried Abilify at age 12, not supposed to use it under age 18; so it did not exactly work right. Seroquel? Abilify again? Lamotrigine? Carbamazepine? Others or generics of any of them?
