seroquel

Ok well im on a new dosage of seroquel 100 This is happening becuz i was never supose to be on it but since iv been on the lower dosage iv had more headaches been nauseated and having a hard time eating is this normal or could all this be my sinus
If I am asleep I am on Seroquel and if I am on Seroquel I am asleep. Since birth I have been especially cranky when I get woken up before I'm done sleeping for the night. Lately, Seroquel has been making this crankiness much worse. ...more like an alcoholic rage. I feel confused, very angry, and frustrated with my inability to articulate. I scream and curse but don't remember it in the morning. My live-in girlfriend said it makes her afraid for her safety.
When I was down to 6 mg I developed a rebound of insomnia, and due to desperation and school finals, I increased my dosage of Seroquel abruptly. Within just a few days I began to develop a facial tic (hard blinking of right eye). Since this time, I called my doctor, who indicated that the tics were likely not due to the Seroquel as they are rare, although I have read otherwise. I have continued to decrease my dosage gradually and am now completely done with the Seroquel (past three days).
My doctor took me off of seroquel 2 weeks ago and I started having nausea. I came off of the cymbalta and wellbutrin over a week ago and the the nausea and headaches are almost unbearable. I'm sure it's a big shock to my system coming off of all 3. Can anyone tell me how long these symptoms will probably last? Is there anything I can do to minimize the withdrawals? I don't know how much longer I can feel like this.
So, after a month I took away another 25 mg and I started to shake, got severe nausea and huge headaches. After two weeks of that I let go of the last 25 mg and thought I was dying. I had cancer before and went through chemo and the nausea was comparable. I kept telling myself that each day was getting me closer to being healthy and free of that extremely addictive drug but after 4 days I saw my family doctor who prescribed me Ativan 1 mg.
once you get through the withdrawal from seroquel, if that's what you're experiencing. I've had headaches like you have and, yeesh.
And- there are also the discussions about seroquel and his effect on the histamine receptoren?! Uff, sorry, I wrote a lot. and my english, oh no ;-) Do you think I have seroquel withdrawal for so long? Are that symptoms for withdrawal. Please I need help, what can I do? By Baba!
but thats where you need to be aware of your body and mind.. and know when that is happening. Seroquel has been my miracle. And as stated before, I am extreemly medication sensitive. Good luck!
I went to a ************** inpatient facility in early december and the psychiatrist put me on Seroquel then. I was on Klonopin when I went into treatment and she took me off of that because I have a benzo and opiate addiction. When I got clean in December, my headaches started coming back daily. From the time I was 18-20 (and using), my headaches were down to 4-5 times a week. I have been on Seroquel since December and Lamictal for close to too years.
I have been treated with NSAIDS, Topamax, chiropractic adjustments, increased prednisone doses, hormone level correction and most recently with elavil at night. I sleep well with seroquel, but am fatigued, have brain fog, muscle burning. This all started after I painted a door with latex paint. Any suggestions as to what to do?
i went to the hospital once and the did a ct scan of my head that was 3 years ago and everything was fine... my headaches tend to feel a lot like pressure and then there are days that they are throbbing like crazy and sometimes i notice cracking sounds in my head kinda like the sound of cracking knuckles which worries me cause i have never heard of any one having cracking in their head.... is it just related to the headaches?
i have been on haldol which was crippling, got off it, then onto risperdal, geodon, and seroquel. the most tolerable is risperdal however i tend to need something to help me get to sleep very badly. i dont fall asleep easily. thats when my psychiatric nurse moved me on to geodon then seroquel along with risperal. both of these i find not very tolerable at all. with seroquel i will sleep very sound though i might suffer some bad hallucinations getting there. and i will oversleep with it.
Migraine headaches that start for the first time over the age of 40 years are suspicious and should be fully evaluated for another cause ie MRI etc. I do not know how old your daughterin law is.
don't worry and don't take it on your nerves. forget it for a while and take some aspirin for a few days.
my balance is not usual off, but i get headaches and this squeezing sensation in the back of my head. i went to the doctor and the test came back negative for cancer but is cancer and a tumor the same thing or different? My memory seems to be affected the most. i was on lithium, seroquel, lexapro, and depakote? do you think i need to get checked for a brain tumor?
I am working on tapering myself off of that as well. Back to the headaches-- I've had headaches everyday and I have also had full blown migraines almsot weekly. The normal migraine medicines, maxalt, relpax and frova barely help anymore. I finally went to an intsacare and they gave me fioricet, which some what helps for the daily/nightly headaches. I would also get really dizzy and disoriented.
I don't remember what I really said, so this is what i think I said. This area made me mad. The bright lamps was killing me, and I paced back and forth in the very little space behind the curtains. I felt very agitated in addition to that undescribable pain. After a while the headache just disappeared. Alltogether I think it may have lasted two and a half to three hours - NOT more than tree hours. Of corse the doctor was to late to se me during the ordeal.
com interactions checker. Fentanyl and depakote, topamax, and Seroquel are listed as increasing drowsiness, as does depakote + Seroquel. In addition, depakote + topamax can increase the drug levels of both meds, meaning that he's effectively getting a higher dose of both. Seroquel + topamax also has a slight risk of overheating, although that's a rare side effect and more common in children. I'm guessing the topamax is for migraines.
I'm not sure my doctor will keep me on it, I've been one it since the 30th and it's caused headaches every day and more dissociative and depersonalization episodes. I've had one every day for the past 4 days, like clockwork. I put in a call to my clinic who's left a message with the nurse, not sure what the result will be. Another switch? Upped dosage? Anxiety medication?
I began taking atypical antipsychotics just over a year ago, and stopped just over a month ago. I have been on Risperdal, Abilify, Seroquel, Zyprexa, and Geodon, in that order. Risperdal caused me to have a grand mal seizure. I was only on it for a month or so, and I was taking a fairly low dose (I don't remember precisely how much). Neither Abilify and Seroquel lasted long because of unpleasant side effects (nausea and twitching/akathesia).
Hey i take effexor and serouquel and i have had a seizure and blackout recently , they think its coz of the meds i wasnt drinking when it happened and i dont remem a thing from it but my advice would be to be carefull when you drink, doctors cant guarantee that it will or wont bring on a seizure but it def does increase the risk of having one plus once you have had one the odds of having another are much greater. Its another worry you dont want to have.
Yes, I still have the headaches and my mood swings have calmed down some what, but my depression is worse now then ever. Also, I have had minor cases of seizures (not granny seizures), The DR. I went to said is was a Juvenal case of Epilepsy and would go away over the years. I had one about two months ago. WHAT is going on with me?
It sounds like theyve got you a nice little three course meal of pills all worked out there. Are they giving any of those to you specificaly for sleep? Im unmedicated i dont keep up with the **** they dish out to people so i apologise.
Does anyone know of any medications other than Geodon, Depakote and Lexapro to treat Bipolar? I have been depressed for over 3 years, and I've also tried Lithium, Lamictal, Cymbalta and Buspar. I wake up dreading the day, and I feel very anxious all day, like I don't want to stay unoccupied. My thoughts are all about how I'm never going to beat this thing; it feels almost like something alien has taken over my brain. I also can't yawn anymore. I know it sounds stupid, but I can't yawn.
I look and feel a mess no matter what I do. My hair is dry, breaking, and thinning, headaches, I have no energy, no life. I look in the mirror and see an ugly person that has aged 10 years in one year. I'm not on depression meds, because nothing I have tried over the years have worked or I had some kind of side effects to them. I've been on prescribed clonazepam since 1996.
I started to have mood swings. The pamelor actually made me anxious and I had a panic attack and anxiety. (First time I've had a Panic attack like this in my life!! It was scary) So we stopped the pamelor. The best med for my headaches I found is an anti seizure(Topamax). But it causes me to lose some cognitive function, slur some words, forget things, etc. The TBI affected my memory and speech already...then add on the effects of the meds. So....I am less pain....
This time about a woman on Topamax for 7 days who seemed to have lost almost all her vision 12 hours after increasing her dose per her doctor's instructions. Some quick thinking sparked me to ask if she could see up close and lo and behold while she was blind as a bat in the distance, she could see the tiniest print about 6 inches in front of her nose. She had developed an acute myopic shift from a choroidal effusion which pushed the lens/iris diaphram forward.
I can't tell if the Indomethacin is working for me because now I'm on the Seroquel and going off the Lexapro so my zaps and headaches might just be related to SSRI discontinuation.
) which i doubt they can help me that much especially i didn't succeed with tegretol and lamictal (headaches, etc....) God only knows the other side effects. My combo is stablon/coaxil (AD), seroquel, risperidone all at subclinical doses. Lately I began to cycle fast and am having mixed situation (not severe and i stop it by adding 25mg seroquel). Most likely it's due to the AD that I have to take it (some say any AD shouldn't be taken more than 6 months).
