s about the size of a match stick and Its good for 3 years. Ive heard the Nuva Ring can fall out easily. Its actually your personal preference. I wanted something that I wouldn't have to mess with.

Hi, Im not sure if this will help you but i was on the nuva ring for 4 years and i never experiance what you are experiancing but i did completely miss my period once and when i spoke to my doctor i was told the nuva ring is known to screw with your periods wheather it is getting 2 in one month or not getting one at all. if it keeps happening i would get it check out but if it is a one time thing i wouldnt worry about it.

I was on the nuva ring for 3+ years, and the first month and a half i had irregular spotting because my ob/gyn said I was adjusting to the hormones. After that I only got my period during the time my nuva ring was out and usually not the entire week but just 3-5 days. How long have you been on the nuva ring?

So I'm on the nuva ring... and i've been doing those new kim kardashin diet pills and I took my ring out sunday normaly its like 4 days later i have a period. and well lets see mon i had spotting very light 1 time & woke up insanely dizzy all morning. then wed. i had this right sided pinching pain going on. i'm moody ( which I never am) and this kimmy k diet pills make you go #2 alot ( sry tmi) and now Im not going at all.

I went to my 6 week check up yesterday and my doctor and I were talking about birth control. I think I want to try the Nuva Ring. Has anyone ever had this or heard about it? Can you give me some information about it? Thanks ladies.

symptoms, I just figured it was all due to the ring. So i put my new ring in on monday, it fell out a few times this month, and yes it was out for more than 3 hours one time. I took it out today because its time for my period, but i think i might actually be pregnant. I have symptoms that are closer to the pregnancy symptoms than the nuva ring symptoms.... Could i have gotten pregnant?

I had the Mirena I liked it but it fell out :/ so I'm going to get the nuva ring instead I cannot go through the pain of getting it again for the possibility of it falling out again

I've been on the Nuva Ring for almost two and a half years. My whole family is very fair-skinned, so I've always had very visible veins my whole life. However, it wasn't until I began the Ring that I noticed my first varicose veins on my right calf. I didn't see the connection at the time, but now it's two years later and the same leg is in so much pain almost regularly, and I'm almost positive it is because of the Ring.

I was having some preg symptoms, on and off. I took my nuva ring out on july 4, and started what i think is my af last night. It is really light, and all brown blood, but i am still having a couple of symptoms that are very similar to pms. my qustions is... if i was pregnant, would i still see blood because of the nuva ring? I am currently 6 days late for my period which, for the most part always starts on the 23rd if not, the 24th. for the last 9 moths (since Marley Anne was born) I was but on non hormal bc. The nuva ring. I had used it before with no problems. today is the CD28 for me and I usually start spotting around cd 24 or 25. And my paps are also abnormal. I am on nuva ring. My problem may be that I accidentally left my nuva ring in during the week I was suppose to take it out. The nuva ring DOES NOT HURT AT ALL. I have used it for 3 years. All you do is put it in and leave it there for 3 weeks. Once its in you, you don't even feel it.

Hi there, I had a question. I can't seem to find a straight answer. So I went on the Nuva ring February 12th. I kept the ring in until March 3rd because it fell out, I didn't bother to put it back in. Two days shy of 21 days, I should have taken it out March 5th. I didn't think I was going to continue usage of it, but today March 12th, I have inserted it again. I just finished my period and put it in today. It has been longer than seven days ring free.

I started the nuva ring on the 3rd day of my period so i waited 7 days to have sex. I had sex two days after that week of waiting and everyday after that and i took it out every single time i had sex and i was ejaculated inside. I would think if your doctors are recommending you try it than maybe give it a chance and if you dont see it helping you out then maybe just take out the implant all together. And as far as the nuva ring falling out of you, i couldn't imagine that happening. The actual circumference of it is about 7 inches...I have a hard time taking it out once a month, who knows you might like it if you try it. Let me do some research for you as well and let you know if i find anything.

Everyone reacts differently to the many forms of birth control. I have a few friends that had the Mirena removed because of the exact problem you are having. If the pain is that excruciating and the bleeding is very bad then you might want to think of another form of birth control. The nuva ring is one of the few I haven't had any problem with, nor have I heard anyone complain about it.

There is the birth control pill, nuva ring, depo shot, implanon, etc. In my opinion with personal experience the nuva ring was the best. The shot made me gain a lot of weight as well as implanon, the pill i was way to forgetful for. And nuva ring i put in for 3 weeks and took out for 1 week. Best wishes!

I was on the nuva ring n I didn't like it or trust it. It would always fall out during sex. Go get plan b n switch birth control. That's my advice lol.
