You started Nuvaring, it can take a few days for your period to start especially when your on yo ur first mornth of Nuvaring. It takes 3 months for your body to regulate hormones. Now if you had unprotected sex within the first week of being on nuvaring (if you hadn't been on another birth control method before) then it's possible to get pregnant. I was on Nuvaring for 3 months and had no issues with it.

I had sex while i wasn’t on the NuvaRing but he said he pulled out. I put the NuvaRing in the week I usually get my period so i know I’d go a month without my period. i’m having cramps like period cramps now. Could that be signs of a pregnancy or is that okay?

No docs Ive talked to since have heard of this being used for anything other than birth control my but tubs have been tied for years.After having nuvaring in for almost three weeks i started to bleed lite not spotting and its dark and not a pleasant smell at all never have had an Oder like that in 46 years and i cant stand it.Also I had very painful cramps only on left side.

I have been on the nuvaring for three months now, yesterday at work while in the bathroom i noticed a small amount of brownish blood on the toilet paper . my doctor told me I was suppose to wait 7 days before the nuvaring can take effect after I inserted the nuvaring on the 4th day of my period.. I remember having bleeding in the hospital a week early even though the ring was still in. At that time I just thought it was because of the catheter and the nurses did not think it was anything to worry about. My questions are: 1. If the Nuvaring was what was elevating my triglycerides is it possible they will go back to normal and how long after being off them should there start to be a difference? 2.

I hve been on the nuvaring for 7 months now. My in/out day used to be Tuesday. Last month I took it out a week early by mistake. I had to wait until the next Thurday to put it back in because the pharmacy would not fill the RX early. I put it back in on Thursday the next wk, waited 7 days again for the rig to become effective, but did not have unprotected sex until about 10 days after inserting the ring. I am currently on the NuvaRing and I have been having trouble inserting it and having it stay in. I have been on it for about 5 years now and I am recently having trouble with it. I feel like I can't push it all the way in. It is supposed to stay inside with your vagina muscles, but I find myself always having to push it back in. I have a history of ovarian cysts, that is why i was put on NuvaRing.

BUT it does seem that alot more people get pregnant on the nuvaring. Like I said I NEVER take it out besides the one week. And put it back in at close to the same time of day that I took it out. And I do know I had it back in more then 7 days before my boyfriend came home from out of town. Guess I just have to wait and see. I have my yearly on Sept 2nd. Well if I had been pregnant and had a miscarriage the pregnancy occured in early July. I didnt start Nuvaring till the 17th of August. Im just wondering since I took it out 3 days early, 2 days after unprotected withdrawl sex, and then had the same sex 2 days after during my period and then inserting a new ring 7 days later like it says to if the ring is out for more than 3 hours in the 3rd week if my chance is high or just a small possibility???

It's my second time using the nuvaring method. I was on the IUD method but my uterus rejected it two times; so the dr. suggested to take it out & use another method(on March 2nd). So i decided to go back on the nuvaring method; eventhough, I was having complications the 1st time I used this method. Thought i had just used it wrong the 1st time. On March 5, I started my period(light period) & decided to have intercourse with my partner(who i've been with for 2yrs).

i was on the nuvaring but put it in a day late and took it out last tuesday on may 5th and usually get my period on the friday following. Friday came and went, saturday came and went and DH and i DTD on Sunday i had very slight spotting like twice when i went to the bathroom i wiped and that was it. Took a digital pregnancy test on tuesday and wednesday and said not pregnant and then went for a beta test and they told me negative!

I am also worried the paps and colpos missed something high in the canal and/or my HPV test was a false negative 2. Or could it all be the Nuvaring? Could the Nuvaring cause LSIL to show in the pap (an inflammation I guess)? Can one have LSIL without HPV? Could Nuvaring cause cervical ectropion? I'm terrified of what may come next!!! hello, the same thing just happend to me - I thought I would have my period and started with hormonal contraception (I don´t take the pill but the NuvaRing). Now I realized that it wasn´t my period at all and I didn´t got my period since I started taking the NuvaRing (1 week ago). My questio is: how about birth-control?? will I now need to use another contraception-method or does hormonal contraception also work when you start taking it without having your period?

I just started the Nuvaring 3 weeks ago. I'll be taking out my first one tomorrow and inserting a new one right away. I think I've used it correctly so far. I inserted it on the first day of my period, and even waited an additional 7 days just to be sure it had kicked in before having sex without another form of protection. Since starting, I've had alot of nausea, diarrhea, dark brown discharge, some cramping, and extreme mood changes.

It makes no difference if you ovulate a few days later, as sperm last 5 days on average in the female body and 7 in perfect conditions. While calenders are helpful, they are by no means exact. It's safer to assume there is no safe time. You need to wait 2 weeks and take a pregnancy test with first morning urine.

they come and go not lasting more than an hour at a time, Milky white discharge from vagina, BLOATING/SWELLING in the lower stomach from belly button down to hairline, nausea in early morning and late night before i go to sleep, DOUBLE or TRIPLE amounts in trips to the bathroom to pee, Bowl movements are totally ABNORMAL, Back hurts like hell... Feels like lower back needs to be cracked but it wont crack I started NuvaRing last month. I was on a oral contraceptive for about 2 weeks.
