Hi, I have a wisdom tooth that has broken and its causing incredible pain. I seriously feel as if my face is going to explode. The dentist cannot see me until next month, we are a military family stationed overseas so he is my only option. Sunday night I was desperate to lessen my pain. I took a 30 mg tablet of Tylenol 3 and 2 naproxens 500 mg each. About an hour later I took 4 more 500mg naproxen, an hour after that 4 more. I wasn't thinking of anything other than stopping the pain.
Like... they said at 10mg there are very few side-effects and at 20mg there are noticeable side-effects. But, you obviously don't want to change the dose on your own, as this can be extremely dangerous! But, it would be worth talking to your doctor about if the side-effects don't go away fast enough. Although... most of the time... with SSRIs in general I find, it can take 2 to 4 weeks for side-effects to go away and then they're gone for good.
re having a discussion on the MS forum about whether one can skip a dose of Avonex to avoid the major side effects during the holiday festivities. Some who take Avonex feel quite sick for a day or two. I'm lucky not to, but still this is a good question. Perhaps you could answer in terms of all 4 DMDs.

The most common side effects from naproxen are rash, ringing in the ears, headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, abdominal pain, nausea etc!

Naproxen is a prescribed NSAID, or heavy duty Aleve. It has blood thinning side effects which could be the source of your bleeding. If the bleeding is even moderate, I suggest you discontinue use and immediately scheudle a follow up appointment with your provider. If bleeding is very mild, such as you simply bleed more if you cut yourself, i would take note and mention upon your next appointment.
s not going to get covered. Should I risk a overdose or passing out? Do I even have any chance of being taken seriously as a patient? It didn't sound like the lady from the insurance company thought so... Even asking this question on the internet makes me feel stupid, but I don't know what to do... I guess I am just scared...
Was this his first dose of the day ? I dont think it will harm him but as a precaution call the Doctor;s office and ask them ...
The problem in the presecription which attached withthe drug written a risky side effects can damage the kidneys .. And the huge amount of vit d3 ( 1000-3000 iu) it has poisinous that lead to negatively affects on the liver and kidney functions !!!
I was planning to take 5000 iu of vit d3 per day .. However i prefer to lower the quantityper day ..
Thanks for the response! Since I am only in pain when pressure is applied to the finger I'll probably hold off on taking the Naproxen unless the pain gets worse.
