menstrual cramps during ovulation

I am currently ovulating, today (april 13th being my last day, and the pain is just gradually getting worse. I have never experienced ovulation pains like this before, these cramps are worse than my actual menstrual cramps. The pain is also so bad that when i move it hurts. The pain is almost all on the left side, with some slightly in the middle. Is this normal?

As far as the sharp pain it can be many things and also just be your body reacting to the menstrual cycle Constipation or menstrual cramps

So my period is two days late (I know now much) and I have been having cramps but they do not feel like menstrual cramps, more like ovulation cramps. Could that be an indicator that I may be pregnant?

eversince i have started trying to concieve, i ve been having some wierd lower abdominal cramps, which is similar to menstrual cramps.my periods are very regular(28days cycle). the cramping appears around a week after ovulation and continues every now and then till almost few days before the period appears.no much pain during actual period. last month my periods came 5 days later than the expected date and that was quite unusual. this month the cramping has started again.

This month, exactly 1 week ago today, I started having lower abdominal cramps. Mild ones like menstrual cramps, off and on, I was also experiencing some constipation. Menstrual cramps are normal to have and I get severe menstrual cramps on the first day of my period as well. Typically it is just from hormones that causes the cramping, as the surge will cause contractions, making her period painful. Prevention is much better than management for pain. Exercise and eating healthy can help prevent menstrual cramps to a certain point, but won't always get rid of them.

I wish I could help answer your question , but I dont remember feeling any pain or anything before or during ovulation....The only reason I even knew when my ovulation time was is because I charted online & my CM would increase.....and when I got my BFP , I had what I thought was super bad AF cramps .....Im sorry hun!

Thank you so much for the the feedback, it's greatly appreciated! I wanted to add that have been using ovulation test(s) during day 14 to 22 of my 28 to 29 day cycle. My test was done every other day and it determined my ovulation on day 22 (7 days prior to next expected menstrual cycle). My concern is that the lunear phase isn't long enough as it seems less than 12 days. I've been testing for 2 months now.

I am wishing and crossing my fingers terribly that these are my usual menstrual symptoms -- white discharge, abdominal cramps, irritability, sometimes feeling constipated. What do you say?
