I had blood work done and I am not full menopause - so my DR, put me on Medroxyprogesterone for 10 days to start it up. Is it true that these drugs can make you more fertile after all is on track? I've posted before as I would love to get pregnant. When I thought I was full menopause I was sad to say the least. I hear so many stories of people that get surprised during pre-menopause when they think they are safe and then get pregnant - I should be so lucky! Thanks in advance for your help.

I am 20 years old and have not had a period for almost a year. I have seen a doctor about this and have been tested for many things including thyroid disorders, pituitary problems genetic tests and hormone imbalances. I have somewhat low estrogen (29) for my age and somewhat high FSH (18). I do not have any other issues than these either. I don't know if this will definitely lead me to early menopause and other health problems or if not having a period really isn't that big of a deal.
She said there was nothing more they could do for me because my FSH, estrodial, LH were all high from that blood test that I had.

She has been taking estrogen for HRT and progesterone for the prevention of breast cancer. However, some of her friends have advised her not to take the progesterone because her cervix has been removed.

More information is that I was on birth control for about 8 years and have been taking medroxyprogesterone for about a year now. I take 2 pills per day for the first 15 days of every month.

I have PCOS so the chances of me being pregnant right now without the Clomid Metformin and Medroxyprogesterone is slim to none as I haven't had a cycle since July of Last year.
Hey i have a problem. I did not have a period for 2 months. I did not have sex either. I just fingered myself and I am not sure whether my fingers were clean that time. I went to the ob gyn and she prescribed me with this tablet medroxyprogesterone acetate she said it will help me menstruate and she will be expecting me to menstruate after a week but I'ts been a week since I've been taking these tablets and still no menstruation. ve gone 6 months without getting it without being pregnant or anything like that. My doctor prescribed me Medroxyprogesterone about a week ago and told me to take it for 5 days until i get my period then start taking birth control once it starts. it's been about 8 days and i still havent gotten my period. she says that it you dont get your period for more than 3 months (without the medicine, naturally) then i have a great risk of uterus cancer.
Me and my fiance have been ttc for 3+ years now. I was prescribed medroxyprogesterone 10mg for 10 days. I started taking this medicine on the first of March and had a regular cycle on the 19. There's been a lot of question as to whether HRT will work for everyone in dealing with hot flushes. For some women it's a blessing and works like a charm. For others, it may lessen them but, not get rid of them completely.
Give it a try for at least a full month. If nothing has changed for the better at that point, you may want to ask your doctor about changing dosages or adding in a natural supplemental aid or vitamin regime.
I'm trying to get pregnant but unfortunately I haven't had my period for a year now. I'll be 28 in april. I went to the doctor but they haven't done anything yet to help. Any suggestions on how to jump-start my period so maybe I can ovulate? Natural suggestions are more than welcome. Anything at all, I'm willing to try anything at this point.

I am on Medroxyprogesterone. & i had un protected sex then i took a plan B pill & i am not 2days late with my perios.
I was a late starter (18) and I have averaged 3 cycles a year. Sometimes missing periods for a whole year. As of October of 2016 I have been getting a period every month! Awesome right!? I think I am the only person I know that wishes and crosses their fingers hoping to start their period. Anyways I have two questions at the moment I guess. My OB prescribed me Medroxyprogesterone and advised me to take it if I went longer than 3 months without a period.
Oh forgot to mention I am also medroxyprogesterone to induce my period. After my last pill I started to spot 3 days later, but not a regular period until 5-6 days later.
My period is very regular (every 30 days, last for a week). I just got married on April 25th, and I was supposed to have my period around that time. I have had my period for 35 days stright, I have frequent migraines not headaches, I'm feeling very weak, am having cold/hot flashes. I am just feeling the most horrible I have ever felt. Is it the birth control or could it be something else? P.S. I have two children, 2 years and three months.
