Various methods used for mole removal are excision and cauterization. Although laser removal has been tried for moles, it is not usually the method of choice for most deep moles because the laser light doesn't penetrate deeply enough.

I had a mole on my face and I did a mole excursion, a small brown spot grew back, and I did a mole laser removal surgery to get it remove. However after the laser removal surgery, my mole is not disorted and grown, it doesn't seem to be a tissue scar cause it is dark brown and a raiser lump has occurred. Is this an indication of something? Can I get mole removal again using laser or excision or it would keep coming back?

IF the scar is interfering with vision, sometimes a rigid lens may be used to smooth the cornea and allow vision. Other options for the scar include surgical removal with a laser if it is superficial or if it is deep, a corneal transplant may enable clear cornea. After surgical mucocele removal, I developed what is thought to be a lower lip neuroma, constant pain, swelling scar. Already attempted laser repair surgery, where the neuroma and scar tissue were removed. After 6 months everything was reformed as before, same pain etc.
I was told that the only solution could be cortisone or botulinum toxin injections
I wonder, is there no way to know if there is actual nerve damage?
I recently had a mole removed by laser. It was a small dark flat mole, more like a beauty mark. However, as it healed, it left a crater type of scar. It has been 2 weeks, will this crater heal over time? Is there something I can use or do to help it heal?

Keloid is a heaped-up scar that rises quite abruptly above the rest of the skin and become red, purple and irritated.
You should have this examined from a dermatologist and discuss the treatment plans with him.
s pretty much the same as it used to be. The laser clinics always promote laser hair removal as permanent, but what you learn if you press someone on the matter is that it's not permanent removal, it's permanent ”reduction.” Meaning that even the clinics know that some or most hairs will grow back. And yes, I don't think it matters whether your skin is dark or light. If the lasers target melanin/pigment in the hair, then the same laser ends up targeting the melanin in the skin!
) After the mole went away, it left a NASTY scar. The scar is about the same color of the mole, but showed up a few days after the mole was already gone. I'm so self-conscious about this scar. (As I was about the mole, before.) I always have to cover it up with make-up so no one will see it. The problem with that is I'm always playing sports, so I sweat and the make-up comes off. Also, when I'm swimming, the make-up comes off.
