Would you have an ideal what it may be?
Yesterday while packing boxes and kneeling down, when I stood up there was a sharp pain on the interior side of an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> right knee. The pain did not go away and radiated in a more or less straight line. The line is up and down about 1/2" inch to the inside of an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee cap. I stopped packing and elevated the knee. No pain when at rest, no pain to put weight on. Slow movement no problem. Pain only when weight and bending. No bruising or noticeable swelling.
She woke up yesterday with a Swollen bump under her knee cap that is the size of 1/2 her knee. The top of it has a spot on it that looks like she scrapped or burned it like a rug burn. Says when she presses on it, it burns/hurts. Hurts to bend but only because of the skin being pulled. Obviously I told her to go to the dr tomorrow to get checked out which she is. She has been iceing it.

child with a small pebbles size bump under the skin on the knee cap area. It is firm, freely moveable, regular borders, and very tender to touch. When I say freely moveable I can actually move it all around her knee cap. I moved it down so far that it disappeared for a few seconds before it resurfaced. I thought it may be a piece of chipped bone but I believe it is to smooth for that. Her knee cap doesn't seem tender only the nodule.
an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee is stiff and painful today underneath the knee cap where the pes anserine tendon inserts and to the inside of the knee cap (medially). I also have pain in the middle of the back of the knee, is especially sharp if I push into it. in terms of comfort and daily activities, I am having no trouble walking except that an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee will get a little swollen (very slight) and stiff if I walk a lot.
hi, I have Enthesopathy of knee and I was wondering if it is normal to have a Fleshy Knot under the knee cap? It don't hurt or anything but I was conerned about that and I was wondering also if it is normal for the knot to get bigger I went to the dr and they didn't seem to worried about it but I guess I am looking for a second opinion.
First of all I have headaches everyday, now for about the last 5 hours or so, I've had a constant throbbing pain in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee cap on an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> left leg. There is a bruised colored knot on the left side but that isn't where the pain is. The pain is around the bottom of the knee cap itself. I've tried a heating pad, ice, tylenol, etc. Not helping. I did have this with an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> son but after seeing a dr. the pain went away. What is causing this and what can I do?? It's very painful. Thanks!
I have a large soft knot just below an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee cap. The strange thing is that it started in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> left knee which is now fine and an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> right leg has new vericose veins and a lump below an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee cap. I went to the dr. he took xrays and he an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>saidan> it could be 1 of 3 things: hematoma, sist, or arthritis. Just wondering if there is any other concerns i should have since it began in one leg and has moved to the other.
UPDaTE ~ recean style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>ivean>d X-today, but it's unlikely anything will show up. I feel it's soft tissue damage. at least she confirmed swelling, and the blood pooling in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> ankle, though it's not as bad as the 1st week of injury. Next will be an MRI after results are sent to her. She gave me a script for Celebrex because I can't tolerate most Nan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>saidan>'s. another question?? I have no back pain, could this possibly be sciatic nerve pain.
Hi, I have a cysist, I believe.. it is on an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> leg right above an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee cap it started out a small bump and grew more and more now its about the size of a nickel and very hard with alot of heat expelling.. its very sore and very red do you think a hot cloth will help it and will it come out on its on soon? thank you for your time..
Right below the knee cap I have a knot that is about the size of a walnut. It has always caused some discomfort but I have never really felt anything in the shin area. I was even able to be in the Marine Corps. I actually have more pain in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> left knee caused from degeneratan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>ivean> joint disease. I also get shin splints sometimes, even just from walking. They are very uncomfortable and tend to bother me from an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee down. If you are experiencing pain something is wrong.
[More] cal theraphy mri on leg and back nothing shows signifacantly wrong doc's just say some swelling between disc in back and the knee is degeneration with a little swelling,an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> right wrist and lower arm ihas been slightly swelled since accident, right ankle swells from time to time right knee goes out on me probably three times a week, i have a hinged knee brace but knee still goes out i have had three serious falls causing more injury from knee going out when going down stairs, recently an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> h
I also had a MRI on an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> left calf, no clot, no fluid, no growth and the muscle looks normal. Now i have a hard knot on an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee cap and an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> foot seams larger also. I sometimes have pain in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> right hip, but am told it's not connected to the swelling. also one of the veins on the inside of an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> right foot is popped out all the time now. Both an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>doctoran> and the Ortho don't know what's causing it.I have had no trauma to the area.
I havr had the numbing in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> left leg since week 13. But now an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> left leg knee cap up a little ways is swollen..burning but cool to touch.. nd hurts all the time. The burning gets so bad it knocks me to an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knees. I startes feeling around both an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> legs in that general area..nd now theres a huge knot where its hurtin. I asked dr. when it first started he an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>saidan> uterus was sitting on a nerve but this was before it was constant painful nd swollen nd before the knot appeared. I have tried baths.
The left knee had just an x-ray but again, just showed the expected arthritis. What I feel now and for the last month is extreme pain on both knee cap area - like crawling on broken glass - with great difficulty walking, bending the knees, and sometimes even while just sitting the pain just aches and sometimes stabs, with concurrent muscle cramping in the calves.
For me, I'm beginning to see that I get little muscle contractions just above the knee cap of an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> right leg, and that seems to confuse an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee considerably. If I'm outside and walking fairly vigorously, sometimes an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee seems unsteady, as if it's not sure what to do, and I wonder whether it will hold me up. This, despite the fact that an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> muscles are quite strong. So go figure. I think we might be in the same boat again. Maybe we should have a new restless leg thread.
When I walk an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee feels like it is frozen and when I try to bend it it hurts also the muscle knot at the back of an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee feels like the back of an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> leg is being stretched. Was working out alot at the gym. I dread getting up in the morning because I know I am going to be stiff and sore can hardly walk first thing in the morning. Went to the an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>doctoran> an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>gotan> some knee ex rays she thinks it is arthritus will know the results tomorrow.
Numbness and burning and itchy. It started out the size of a quarter just above an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee cap during an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> last pregnancy. Docs an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>saidan> it would go away after I delan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>ivean>red because most likely a nerve was being pressed on...Needless to say it did not go away, and has only been progressivley getting worse. It now starts just above the knee cap and covers almost the whole upper thigh in front...no numbness or anything on the back of an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> leg.
I wonder if I'm ambitious enough to do the Martha Stewart - style knot garden with the perennials. That would be fun. If so, I'll post some pics when it gets going.
I fell in the dog park onto an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee about 2 weeks ago. an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> knee was swollen and sore for a day or two, then turned dark dark blues and reds and then the very next started to itch. an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>doctoran> friend an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>saidan>, "maybe your knee landed in poison ivy?"... haha. That's pretty much what it looked and felt like. (But, no, the dog park is all regular lawn grass.) The knee was still slightly swollen, like a pocket of fluid above the cap. Not too painful, really, and I could walk on it just fine.
It happens about 2x a day, lasts a few seconds and it has moved around an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> body. Started in the left wrist, went to the left knee, then ankle, and the over to the right knee. Now it's been happening behind an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> right thigh for about 2 weeks. Very strange.
No we can't call it off.We had our QB out with knee, our #1 running back out with the knee and our punter out with a knee. No way,we need the help.Have you noticed there are more injuries going on these days in college football.Somethings up with that. as for the wife thing,I told her and she is fine with it. Last night was the first time in awhile we acted like we were married. It was a good night.Hell I even an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>gotan> lucky. Now that was more info than I think you ask for.lol.
When I had a new cap put in many years ago, it threw an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> jaw out of alignment and I suffered with extreme pain across an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> head and felt extremely dizzy. With the salivary stones, has you been gan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>ivean>n any advice how to avoid these in the future? If there is any blockage in the Eustachian tube or from stones in your tonsils, no matter how small, as this will cause pressure and discomfort.
On the fourth day, I sat down and fell asleep for a couple hours sitting up, and woke up with sinus drainage going on, and had that thing that feels like a dry knot in the center of your head, behind your nose. I stopped using the saline, thinking perhaps I'd overdone it (I'd never used it before). That was three days ago.
I have had nearly constant pain, mostly on the right side next to the lower edge of the scapula, for the past 7 months, probably due to a gym injury. Sitting in front of the computer would be excruciating after just 10 minutes. after seeing two orthopedists who thought it was busitis, fan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>ivean> months of physical therapy, negatan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>ivean> nerve studies and MRIs, and a rheumatologist, none of which helped, I went to an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> family an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>doctoran> back home who diagnosed chonic rhomboid spasm.
after getting clear of that (i used the whole time) i broke an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> leg below the knee. i was runnig a piece of heavy con- struction equipment.you know in all those years of shooting all the dope i could get an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> hands on , i never once thought what i would do if i ever needed a pain killer. for the next year while an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>myan> leg was "rebuilt" i sure had a lot of time to think about it! i went clean for 17 years.
