Avatar f tn Anybody have any solutions for heartburn? Up until the last coupla days, I've never had heartburn. Any suggestions would help. Thanks in advance.
1936698 tn?1333915193 I'm about 20 weeks along, and all of a sudden I am getting killer heartburn. Everyone keeps saying baby Charlotte is going to come out with tons of hair, but if this is true, she is going to be hairy all over lol. Anyway, According to the list my doctor gave me, I can only take tums, but I feel like my body is becoming immune to them and they aren't working as well anymore. The package says to take no more than 10 a day, but 10 isn't working for me.

Avatar f tn I had heartburn with my first son and he came out damn near bald lol. I have some heartburn with this one to. We shall see how much hair he will have.
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with acid reflux years ago so I have been on medication for heartburn for quite a while. when I found out I was pregnant the doctor took me off of my medication so the heartburn is back ten times worse due to being pregnant. the doctor told me I can take Tums or Rolaids or Maalox and none of it seems to work, I'm popping Tums and Rolaids every 5 minutes its horrible does anybody have any solutions?
Avatar f tn Ok I'm 10 wks why do I have heartburn so bad it does not matter what I eat I always get it. I feel like I walk around with a fire in my chest at all time.
Avatar f tn ve tried indigestion tablets, solutions and changing my diet but it is chronic and has been going on for a long time. There is no heartburn or reflux, just a very full, heavy feeling in my stomach, pain, nausea and feeling full even when I haven't eaten much. I have crohn's disease, coeliac disease, pancreatic insufficiency and no longer have a gallbladder. My diet and medications have not changed recently so are unlikely to be causing the new indigestion extremes. Thanks.
Avatar f tn Does anyone else there find their bras are intensifying their heartburn? I am heavy chested so unfortunately, going without a bra just isn't an option for work, etc. By the end of my shift, I am dying to rip my bra off because the pressure of the band (which I've never noticed before) is too much on my esophagus and really bothering my heartburn then in turn leads to nausea. Anyone else out there?? Solutions??
20003388 tn?1515166040 Every time I try a medication that has a reuptake effect on norepeneprhine I get this mild burning sensation on the left side of my chest. So far I have had this happen with Atomoxetine, Venlafaxine, Bupropion and now Nortrypytiline. It isn't anxiety, a panic attack or heartburn, just a dull, moderately uncomfortable, burning sensation. I'm fine with all the SSRI's and medications like Rexulti. It's just the ones that affect NE.
Avatar f tn I recently started taking 20 mg every day of Prozac. I am also on an appetite suppressant to help me lose weight, which I started about a week before the Prozac. I have noticed that since taking the Prozac I have this constant heartburn / upset tummy where I just can't eat anything. I mean, nothing sounds good and smelling most foods seems to make it worse :S This is not good because it is not a healthy way to lose weight and I don't want to gain a bunch later.
Avatar n tn It sounds like gastric problems ,I know that sounds like no big deal but it can be extremely painful. Try a anti gas/heartburn over the counter medicine and see if that help.I know physicians that have had patients go through a lot of test and then give them a antacid . Good luck!
1936411 tn?1333831849 I was super frustrated so I called a Shared Solutions nurse and instead of offering me any level of human compassion, she wasted my time trying to sell me on the 40mg prescription. I told her no way, but she kept on it trying to quote research and telling me that since their clinical trial lasted a "whole year" they have really good data. I cannot belive her audacity. I ended up having to tell her I wasn't interested three times before she shut her piehole.
Avatar n tn Hi, How are you? I would suggest you to try magnesium supplements. Magnesium is shown to be very effective in preventing migraine attacks. The other option is biofeedback therapy. Also have you been able to identify a trigger for your attacks? The best treatment for migraine is identification and avoidance of trigger. Hope this helps!
Avatar f tn My Dr. put me in touch with shared solutions when I was dignosed with MS 8 yrs ago. They have been very helpful to me since I don't have any health insurance. i went through Nord first and that took about 6 months before I heard anything on wether I would get any help then 6 more weeks before I received my first 3 month supply of copaxone. I now get assistance from a place in Fla. I hear from them within a month after I send in all of the info that they need.
