heartburn and labor

Think that is common that you go a bit more as you near labor. And as mentioned, had a lot of nausea and heartburn in my third trimester and in particular the last month. You have a long way to go still. And this was an 'episode'. So, just monitor it. If you get anything like severe back pain, then worry more or if you start to cramp. But I think you are probably fine and baby is safe and snug.

Im due march 13 and lately I have been having awful heartburn I mean AWFUL Im pretty sure these past couple days Ive been losing my mucus plug. How can I tell if im close to labor?

It depends on your doctor, and how the hospital is. Sometime is 2 or more. Last time I had 13 ppl w, me in the labor room lol.

I had such bad heartburn with my 1st pregnancy and my son came out looking like a troll doll he had 2 inches of long jet black hair over his whole head and down his neck. We had to trim it at 2 months old because it was going in his eyes.

The full moon and labor isn't a wives tale. Their are changes in the tides with a full moon which can cause labor for example it can cause your water to break. Same thing with storms due to the change in barometric pressure. The heartburn and hair is however a wives tale.

22 am and had her at 3:55 the next am. She just wasn't coming out lol. But so far with this one been laboring a few days it ***** but what ever it takes to get her here I'm ready for it . Good luck to u also .

I have been laying in bed now for 3 hours and 52 minutes. I cannot for the life of me get to sleep I have heartburn which will not go I've just thrown my lunch up and still heartburn! I have also just drank a pint of milk which has woken up baby and she is doing some serious breech backflips!

So this guy and his wife that has 10 kids swears to me if I drink a bottle of water and mix it with a few spoons of cinnamon that I'll go into labor lol. Has anyone tried this or even heard of it? Today's my due date and nothing is happening :( I wana try this but also does cinnamon cause heartburn? Because last time I made French toast with lots of cinnamon and I got tons of heartburn after :( lol I do not want to get heartburn. Thanks .

I just want to know if there is anything I can do to wait out these last two weeks in any way easier. I have a swollen vagina, swollen feet, hemroids and heartburn 24/7(sorry). any advise. I would love to speed up the waiting and help start labor but I am not sure how without having to take any oils and crazy ideas like that. Any advise???

Take a rennie and drink a glass of diet coke fast and you will let out an almighty burp and then your heartburn will be gone!

My throat is sore, I have a headache, I'm really nauseous, my stomach is crampy and I have TERRIBLE heartburn. So bad that I threw up last night. My whole body is sore and I can't sleep although I'm exhausted. I'm MISERABLE and I don't know what to do. I would go to the hospital but I don't see a point if I'm just sick. I also don't want to wake my husband up because he works in the morning and if I'm sent home, he gets no sleep. I have dirreah also.

U felt like that last week. Still have looser stools and heartburn, I felt so sick a few days ago though! Im 38 and 5.

Anyone know how long after birth it takes before the swelling, heartburn, and other complications disappear?

Being induced in ten days. But spending my time eating as much spicy food as i can to bring it on. It still doesn't feel real and i don't feel ready. But i am so sore and feel rough. She is outstaying her welcome.

t until Wednesday should I wait or call labor and delivery?? Has anyone else gone thru this???

and it kept coming in repeated sessions over and over again. It was so painful I thought I was going into labor, but I have been in labor and knew contractions wouldn't be in my upper chest area.. lol I almost woke hubby up to go to er.. anyone have heartburn like this before or know how I can ease my pain??

The best way to promote labor is walking and nipple stimulation. Nipple stimulation makes your body release hormones that will induce contractions. And walking will put pressure on the cervix and help to thin it.

It's after 3 AM. I was feeling sick all day yesterday, kept having diarrhea. Now my stomach is just cramping, no contractions, though the cramping is painful. I've peed at least 10 times in the past hour,no exaggeration. It feels like a lot of pressure in my pelvic area & I just can't sleep. I feel like I have severe heartburn, I also felt that all day yesterday. I'm just worried. Anyone have any ideas? Oh & I have a doctor's appointment in 5 hours anyways.

Im 28 weeks and my hospital reccommends to take the classes between 28-38 weeks. I wouldnt wait til 38 weeks because you could go into labor early. My class also comes with a tour. My mom said it is helpful because they will tell you exactly what will happen when you go into labor and where to go. Also with the heartburn. My doc told me to take pepcid ac (10mg) or zantac (75mg) and to try proping my head up more. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I'm 39weeks and 6 days . If no labor sign till 40w6d. They told me to go to hospital that day and get induced.

I have had horrible heartburn since my second trimester. I'm 36 weeks now. Every night no matter what I do it never fails. Zantac and milk are life savers! Also, I've never heard of heartburn being linked to preeclampsia.

I went home and cried for hours then googled that fresh pineapple can induce labor so I ate an entire pineapple and went for a walk and was in active labor by that night, lol! Not sure if it had anything to do with the pineapple or walk, but it can happen with no progression at all very fast.

did anybody feel like they were gonna go into labor and actually go I'm not having contractions I just feel different

I eat spicy all the time its litterally the only thing I crave I started getting heartburn with everything I at spicy or not and my dr recommended gaviacon for the discomfort.

Oh, And I don't have any advice on the heartburn. Sorry.
