Try zantac twice a day. I had heartburn so bad until beginning of 3rd trimester.

Hi I am 35weeks pregnant and I have really bad heartburn at night time and every time I eat I feel so full that I can barely even move. I feel the baby moving really low in my pelvic area where I haven't felt him move since the beginning of my pregnancy. I toss and turn all night. Are any of these signs that I could have the baby early or is there anyway to tell?

I have had horrible heartburn with this pregnancy since the begining.. I do not take anything for it other than TUMS... I would mention it to your dr but pretty much you can have it .. not have it.. it can last days or my case months... I drink milk to help as well.

I started getting heartburn early in my pregnancy. I'm 21 weeks now and still have it. It's gotten a bit worse these past 3 days, as if my stomach and throat are constantly burning. I usually drink milk to help my heartburn and occasionally take tums.

I've had outrageous heartburn with this pregnancy. In the beginning milk would work but after a while it got so bad nothing was working. I was even to the point of throwing up stomach acid my heartburn was so bad. I talked to my ob and she actually prescribed me prilosec because zantac wasn't working with this pregnancy like it did with my previous three. I would try tums, rolaids or milk or other remedies before reverting to prescriptions if you aren't big into taking medication.

I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow and I've had heartburn since the beginning of my pregnancy!!

Yeah I've had a good pregnancy so far. I've had no morning sickness. Had bit of a back pain at the beginning of pregnancy but yeah now it's just the heartburn lol. Yeah I'm having a boy too :-) thouht of any names yet ?

Had severe sickness at the beginning so it feels like my whole pregnancy is a strain. Does anyone know wether it meansthat the baby has lilots of hair as thats what I keep hearing? Never had indigestion with my daughter.

I'm 23 weeks and it seems that right from the beginning of my pregnancy I've had heartburn with almost everything I eat &/or drink. My doctors/midwives have tried a few different medications to help control it, but thus far it hasn't helped. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

morning sickness from about 7 Weeks to the beginning of the second trimester. And noo stay away from spicy food supposedly that triggers it lol. I still get sick every once in awhile and I'm almost 22 weeks.

Okay so this pregnancy I had to start daily a daily heartburn pill at 16 weeks well I'm now having horrible heartburn even with the meds. I've tried everything I can think of even testing for certain food triggers but nothing is helping. Anybody else have this happen?

I've been suffering bad since the beginning of My pregnancy and it just got worse for me. Don't drink milk though because that makes it worse it's got another acid in it that won't help heartburn. You can have gaviscon go to your doctor he will prescribe you with something for it cos it does get worse sorry to say.

Ive had really bad heartburn from the beginning ... Its really bad i mean crying, grabbing my chest and about to pull my hair out heartburn and more.than once a day. If i ate toast i would get it. I tried absolutely everything milk, bread, tums, mylanta, cut out caffeinated drinks and chocolate nothing helped finally my dr gave me something for the heartburn. Also, elevating your head while sleeping helps!

Not that I know of. My doctor told me to take those too. I don't get heartburn anymore, but I did at the beginning of my pregnancy. I'm sure your baby will be fine or else they would have not rescribed them to you.

I'm due January 3rd with 7-8 weeks to go; 32 weeks(: . & I have been having a little acid reflux , but it's nothing I can't handle . In the beginning of my pregnancy it was the worst .

I did not really get stretch marks my first pregnancy but I did have a little heartburn this time my stretch marks a real bad but I already had them from being fat did not really get stretch marks during my pregnancy this time I still don't have new ones just the old ones from me gaining a lot of weight and getting fat and then losing weight. but I have gotten heartburn a couple times not real bad though.

When I was pregnant with my first, I had no morning sickness. I did feel nauseous every now and then. With this pregnancy, I'm beginning to feel somewhat nauseous again. Still no morning sickness, but that could change as I'm only 4 weeks, 5 days.

Is anyone else experiencing the "joys" of heartburn at this point? With DS, I had a bit in the evenings, but only during the third trimester. This time, I've been having it since the beginning of the second trimester and, especially in the last couple of days, during any time of the day. So far, I've been taking over-the-counter antacids, but at my last appointment, my OB mentioned that if it didn't get better (or got worse), he could prescribe something.

Heartburn definatly for me also. Had it since about 12 weeks!

I've had horrible heart burn since the beginning of this pregnancy and I'm not 38&1 and still have heart burn horribly, tums doesn't seem to help me anymore. I've had it so bad to were I've gotten sick also.

Most pregnant women go through the insomnia stage at least once in there pregnancy I went through mine in the beginning it only lasted a couple weeks and then I was back to normal just try not napping through the day and don't drink or eat anything after 7 to minimize bathroom trips and heartburn if you get heartburn.

I am now 32weeks and 4days. This is my 2nd pregnancy my 1st was with my daughter nd now that im having a boy I have come to realize the saying that every pregnancy is different is so true. It only gets worse the further into pregnancy you get. I remember with my first, I had heartburn here and there, but nothing serious and he hardly had any hair! With my second I had really bad acid reflux and he was born with TONS of hair! So, if it's true, this baby should have loads of hair as well! lol The only thing that calms it at this point for me, is drinking a small glass of grapefruit juice. It settles it for a few hours.

I had no heartburn at all with my daughter and she was born with a ton of hair! This pregnancy I had really bad heartburn in the beginning so we will see if my little guy has hair in about 8 weeks.
