Hi, This could be a fungal infection. Athlete's foot, also called tinea pedis, is a fungal infection of the feet. Most people want to avoid athlete's foot because it is uncomfortable and unsightly. Left untreated, the Trichophyton and Epidermophyton organisms which cause it can spread to other parts of the body. By keeping the feet clean and dry, you can avoid athlete's foot infection rather effectively.

I would try some anti-fungus foot powder, or even corn starch. Also, try taking the mineral zinc, those that are deficient in this mineral sometimes have foot order problems.

I was diagnosed with Hep. C approx. five years ago, now I have a foot fungus and toe/fingernail fungus. I have also been finding these tiny black things, the size of a pinhead all over my skin, some are even going into my fingernails, as well as my skin. Is this another type of fungus, or do I have some strange bug inside of me? Also does anyone notice a gross odor from the nail fungus? Are people with Hep. C prone to fungi infections?

hi, for the past year or so, I have had various problems with only my left foot. I have experienced itching, peeling, dryness, small blisters, callouses, and redness on my left foot but never on my right foot. I have tried all sorts of creams including ones for athletes foot but I have no idea why it doesn't go away.

My husband has problems with toenail fungus and athlete's foot. His doctor basically said with his liver condition it is best not to treat it.

I wanted to know how to get rid of fungus? I have It under my feet and It ***** because I have pretty feet but I can't even lift my leg up or someone will see It I've had It for a while someone leave a comment please.

For a while I've had this foot problem. My right foot has what looks like a fungus. I've used some creams and they help a little but don't get rid of the problem. I do jog everyday and I'm on my feet 8 hours a day at work. The skin is kind of scalely and hard. After a while it might flake off. I wouldn't say it's itchy though. I try to change my socks daily and the shoes I've had I've been wearing for a while. I have a pair of shoes for work and everything else.

gave me pamphlets on hand eczema and the paper said that some eczema is associated with a fungus that also affects the soles of your feet. When I intially went to the dr my feet where already infected. The nails on my hands are also discolored and grow in what I can only describe has "ripples" and crumble off. I have been seeing this dr since January and am not happy with my progress.

and I have water blisters on my hands and feet and my nails are falling off so I went to the doctors today and was diagnosed with hand and foot fungus! I now have to take a drug and I have to get tested for liver problems while on it and am extremly worried! Could this have been prevented if I had the proper diagnosis? My friend also had this and she was told by her doctor that it was a viral infection going around??? I have 2 small kids and am wondering if fugus is contagious???

Vaseline isn't the best bet for this area. It's not water soluble and can trap bacteria underneath it. Expressing impacted anal glands is kind of like popping a zit. It's going to be irritated for a few days, and of course, the dog is going to lick any irritated area. I've found Dermachlor Flush Plus (available from the vet) to be a great antiseptic and antifungal rinse that also prevents most dogs from licking an injury.

I'm going to try to be as thorough as I can. My scrotum has been red and itchy for what's going on five months. It also appears thicker than normal with more folds/creases. The perineum and intergluteal cleft (butt crack) have been itchy as well but show no signs of discoloration. The shaft of my penis is completely normal and does not itch at all.

It doesn't itch at all though? There is a liquid they can give you to take internally for that. And soaking feet in water with tea will kill nail fungus and athlets foot. The tannic acid kills it. Just thought I would share.

that the skin was cracking (as if the bare foot had been dragged across a rough surface...which was not the case). I bought moisturizer so as to soften the skin, yet the rough skin exterior persisted. Then came the itching & burning sensation (feet). I checked online & found out I had Athlete's Foot (something I nerver had before & I am baffled as to how I got it in the first place...I read a list as to how it can be gotten, yet none of the scenarios applied to me).
