Hi ive just been put on tramadol 50mg every 4-6 hrs as well as 20mg fluoxetine a day and 10mg of amitriptyline at night. Can someone tell me if this combination of drugs is safe to use as my doctor and pharmacist refuse to give me a straight and.

I know they say it takes at least two weeks to kick in but I was taking St John's wort prior to this (my doc knew of this) My serotonin levels were extremely low. we just started the lexapro slowly as i slowly decreased the fluoxetine. fluoxetine stays in your body for several weeks, so withdrawal effects are less likely (and/or less severe) than with other SSRIs. i would speak to your dr. about a slow transition from one med to the other... or give the buspirone a try. buspirone is supposed to be similar to valium in terms of it's anti-anxiety properties. so if you are having trouble with anxiety or panic, this might be a good combination for you.

I cannot seem to kick the Daytime sleepiness. I am taking 40 mg, fluoxetine, 150 bupropion. When I was on the bupropion with lamictal it seemed like I had less of this sleepiness. Hi, I've been on levothyroxine since July, the smallest dosage. I'm also taking 20 mg of fluoxetine. The past few years I've been very tired (which I contribute somewhat to the fluoxetine and is normal), and my memory seems to be declining (way before I started taking the fluoxetine). I am only 22 years old, so I'm HOPING it is due to the hypothyroidism. My question is if this is a possibility or not? I have trouble concentrating, but I'm pretty sure it's not ADD or ADHD.

Fluoxetine is generic Prozac. I've been on it a few times, and I'm back on it again. It will take 4-6 weeks before you begin to feel a difference (sometimes sooner). But it will happen. The only side effect I've ever had from it was insomnia, but that always goes away in a few weeks, so give it some time.
