I have skin that is slowly peeling off my fingers. It started on my thumb, pointer and middle fingers on both hands right at the fingernail. Really not peeling on other my other 2 fingers(ea side)
No blisters at that point, just skin started to peel from the fingernail, up at the top of it and up the finger and down the back side. Both hands same fingers. Skin that peels off is soft.
A few days later I did have a "blister" right in the middle of my thumb while I was in the bath.
Is fingernails determine who the father is?

I scratched it using my fingernails and i noticed the pimple rash had a blood (red but the blood did not went outside the body) and i checked the fingernail that i used there is no visible blood also...
Questions:
1. If the technician have a dried blood in my car and my fingernail hit or touches the blood and used the same fingernail to scratch my pimple rash...Do you think this is hcv transmission?

Could this be a type of fingernail material growing from the scalp? The physical consistency of this 'hair' strongly resembles that of a fingernail. Extensive searching the net has found nothing. Surely my daughter is not the only case like this. I read about keratin, but it seems the keratin in hair and nails is the same.
Fingering is not a risk of HIV transmission cut with a fingernail or not.
I am 29 weeks now, and my baby boy moves so much I love it! However, sometimes when he moves he makes cracking noises..he still moves just as much now as he did before but I'm not sure what the cracking sound is. I even asked the doctor and she had no idea? Any one else have this or an I just crazy?
So im 37wks. And the last week or so when baby moves i hear a cracking noise almost like shes cracking her toes. Its really wierd and its loud so people around me can hear it too. I have 5 kids and never ever had this with any of them. Does anyone knw what it may be. I c dr. On mon. But just wanted to c if anyone else experienced this?

Am I at risk of any serious disease if I get a very mild scratch from some other man's fingernail? This happened to me a few days back while travelling in a train. Since then, I have been thinking about it and it has been causing me a lot of anxiety. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

About two months ago my fingernail developed a black mark near the nailbed. It has since continued up toward the top of the nail while changing brownish now puple with the uppermost tip is turning white. I have an appointment in October.It doesn't hurt and does not appear to look fungal according to my doctor. Is October to long to wait? I read that melanoma can develop under the nail.
My question is if the wetness I felt on the door handle had been blood and it had gotten on my fingertips and nails and had been wet hiv blood and it got on the fingernail that I punctured and cut my chin with could I have gotten hiv from my fingernail with wet hiv blood puncturing and cutting my chin? ve had this happen to me more than once) Any serious crunching to the nail on your finger will cause this to happen - the bruising underneath the nail is what causes it to fall off, and the bump in the middle of where the nail used to be is actually the new fingernail growing back.
There are also various rheumatological diseases that can present with fingernail symptoms, and if suspected, various anti-antibody tests can be done as well as a referral to a rheumatologist.

At the top of the fingernail, where it grows out fron the finger, is a small semi-circle of white then the rest of the finger nail is pinkish. Prior to moving to where I now live my nails all had this little area now 3 years later only my thumbs do. Can anyone tell me if this is something to be concerned about? Thanks for any help!!
If I need part of my fingernail removed due to ingrown fingernai, will a doctor use novacaine. The podiatrist did do that when I needed an ingrown toenail removed. Will a dermatologist do the same?
I was poking at a small scab on my shaft and used my fingernail to pop a small blister. I then put some soap on turned on the water and started to lather my hand, but then before I could get the water on my hand my fingernail I was using dug into my other hands skin and broke the skin and drew blood. I washed my hands for about a min but my question is I had blister waterish on my fingernail and went into skin. Could have I just transferred the fluid into my skin ?
