Rehab over 5 years ago and was clean for 3 years then lost a finger and tore to disks in my back i had a spinal cord stemlor but i. 3 weeks ago and i want to stop taking everything but the withdrawal is so bad i am taking 3 to 4 Norco 10/325 a day and i do not want to.

How long have you been on Norcos and how much do you take per day?

Hi, I'm a 28 yo female who had a bad accident in 2010 resulting in numerous injuries. I just had MAJOR back surgery 9 months ago and still need surgery to repair my left hip which is torn as well, a broken tailbone, bone spurs in my pelvis, and after all the imaging for those thing found out I have a bone fusing disorder which has spread to already multiple places.

I was diagnosed with MS in August of this year and this finger pain was one of the earliest symptoms after I fainted in Feb (but had no idea that was anything serious) - I went to a rheumatologist for the finger pain and he couldn't find anything but did think I had carpal tunnel and the nerve test for that is what started me on the path to a MS diagnosis.

rightt hand ring finger still swellen and still pain after a month is the knuckel broken?

I'm just over 34 weeks. For the last week or so, I've been waking up in the middle of the night and morning to really bad finger pain that lasts for aw hile! It's hard to bend my fingers and sometimes they make a popping feeling when I bend them. Middle three fingers on each hand are the worst. During the day, they're not "as" sore, but still a little. I can't seem to find anything about this in my baby books. My hands don't look swollen. Anyone else have this??

I was pulling open my cars jammed ashtray, it was stuck so I pulled harder and my 2 fingers....

I'm sitting here with only a few Lortab/10 left after an on & off habit for 4 years but very steady for about a year. On avg I take 8-15/day. Been trying to find more but am really wishing I could just quit the $hit! Have tried suboxone in the past and not sure I want to do that again - have also checked myself into detox and don't want to do that againeither. Have read about the Thomas Recipe - bought the stuff several months ago but haven't stuck to it.

I know they want to bbq a couple of things, but what about little finger foods. Or snack/desert ideas?

I am interested in trying the Thomas recipe. I am getting ready to take a week off school and work in 2 weeks. I am really scared to do this, it is something that has been on my mind for a five years now and I always have some excuse to not do it. I play a rough sport and we are in the middle of the season right now-another reason I am scared to stop. I take up to 3 lortab 10mg/day, broken in half and taken 6 times/day.

Were you on anything before the patch? If so, what and how much? When is your back surgery and how will you manage the pain after that? 25 mcg isn't that high a dose and 3 weeks isn't all that long but Fentanyl can be really hard to come off and weaning off is best. Are you talking to the prescribing doctor about coming off? Whether you wean off or CT, the Thomas recipe is very helpful. With more information, you may get better responses.

I hear everyone talking about this but I can't seem to find the actual recipe anywhere. Does anyone have it? Thank you!

I am new to the website but am looking for advice for quitting pain medication on my own and I have been seeing people talk about the Thomas Recipe. I would like to find it or see what it is. I have been on pain killers for about 2 years due to a neck injury and it has gotten really bad to the point of addition. I have to do this myself because there is no way I can leave my family right now and have a very sick husband who is quit possibly dying.

I have been trying to get the recipe together but I can not seem to find just the right mineral supplement that has everything in it as needed. I don't know what to do or where to find it. Any help .

does the thomas recipe really work? After surgery my wife was on 40 mg oxy 3X a day and 10 mg percocet 3X a day due to an accident in which she smashed 3 vertebraes and broke her knee. she has been on these pills for 6 years and decided to get off them. She went to a detox clinic (the only one we could find that our insurance would pay for) they gave her suboxone and she was doing fine.After 6 days the insurance stopped paying so the detox clinic told her she had to leave.

I totally agree with everything you said!!! I'm an addict and don't need them for physical pain but for emotional pain; which I obviously need to deal with differently. I feel for people with chronic pain!

I figured it was slight withdrawal and was just going to have him get plenty of fluids and try some of the other remedies from that thomas recipe. I just feel bad because he legitmately needed the meds since he practically cut his finger off and now he's healing but he doesn't feel good. He's been pretty down so I want to help as much as I can.

You may have severely bruised the bone, or fractured it by the force that went on the hand as you landed. An xray of the hand would be able to show whether you have caused damage to the bone. In the meantime strap the middle finger to the two either side to immobilise it. You can apply a lot of natural yogurt to that part and lightly bandage it. This helps by drawing out the inflammation. Keep your weight off that hand too until it is fully healed.

So, I've been having some annoying pain in my right ring finger on the under side. I want to say it feels like a really bad paper cut or being poked with a ton of little needles. I don't know if I did anything to it, it tends to hurt more with use, but only on the underside.

I am having some knuckle pain on my right hand on my middle finger, however i do not remember hurting my hand at all, there is no swelling and i can keep it in the straight position however when i bend it the pain comes. any suggestions?

Just asking if any history of neck strain or pain. I guess I really need to take pain meds. I try to hold off as long as I can.. Family says all would be ok if I didn;t take all those meds. HAH. Thety should have seen my BPD and ADD before I was palced on "all those meds" (5). How do you all deal with the pain. At times it makes me so mean, my husband will bring the Lortab, give to me with diet coke and say here, I can;t take any more.
