finger pain postpartum

Hi, I'm 4 months postpartum and I'm not sure if maybe thats why this developed. I definitely have trigger finger, my Dr is very busy so I'm self treating. My joint at the bottom of my index finger clicks (this is after several nights of waking up with my finger bent). Luckily it's not painful. I've been wearing a splint at night that keeps my finger straight so it can't keep bending and making my finger worse.

I am currently 2 months postpartum, exclusively breast feeding. Today, my husband ejaculated on to my vagina, and then used it as lubricant to finger me. I’m just wondering how likely it would be to become pregnant? Probably not very, just curious.

I had a natural water birth, no tearing, and the pain was barely noticeable. A lot of people say how they had massive pain when weeing and pooing after birth for the first time, but the hospital gave me Ural which takes the acidity out of the wee, and it just felt normal, no pain whatsoever. As for the bowel movements, I took stool softener in the hospital and honestly, NO PAIN at all when doing it!

I'd start with a finger to test the waters, so to speak. See how that is and go from there.

More tmi but I had my 1 week check up postpartum today. My Dr actually put his finger up my butt and pushed it back in. He said it's a bad one but not thrombosed which would be dark like purple. He said laying on left side and pushing it back in slowly with lube helps to deflate it each time. It's already working. Super awkward getting a finger up your butt on your birthday by 70 year old man!! LOL that's the most action I got on my bday.

I been swellon for a week and i cant walk at all.

It seemed as though my postpartum bleeding had almost completely stopped unless i had a bowel movement. Then i would get some dark red blood and sometimes a small clot when i went. Then at 20 days postpartum my husband and i had intercourse for the first time since the birth. He was really gentle and slow, and i didn't experience any discomfort or pain during it.

I'm in my 4th week of postpartum...i've had sex twice but have pulled out at time of orgasims...i'm havin extreme back pain and less than mild abdomen cramps...am i just starting my postpartum period since i stopped breasfeeding or could i be pregnant again?

Im 3 weeks postpartum & last night I experienced some terrible back pain & vomiting that lasted on & off for about half an hour has anyone else gone through this?

I had vaginal delivery and everything went well. I have a doubt that, complete bed rest is necessery during postpartum? In my country people says like we have to take rest atleast 1 month. But what i read in internet is , if you are comfortable in doing something do it. Its all depend upon your mood. i didnt do any heavy work. but i went for shopping 3 days after delivery. im doing my household activities. can you pls advise?

did u have to get resticted? i had sex at 4 and a half.I didnt feel pain. but I am bleeding nightly now .

I had back pain throughout my pregnancy, and unfortunately, 7 weeks postpartum, it has gotten worse. You could try going to see a prenatal chiropractor.

which flared up my hemorrhoids causing some blood when I wiped as well as pain at my rectum when pooping. Things are much better pain wise now but every morning I feel pain in my stomach and can literally feel a long lump where my stool is and then it goes away after a BM. I still have very mild blood when I wipe, like a dot on the Toliet paper. But I've noticed aside from the dull pain that comes and goes, I still feel somewhat queasy worse in the morning but gets better throughout the day.

i mean he said he advised to do as much walking as you can afterward but save the more strenuous stuff for after 8 weeks so im pretty sure you should be able to do about whatever now but if it starts to hurt i would stop..

I can honestly answer that with a hell no lol. The worst part of pregnancy to me is what we go through afterwards - depression, no sleep, pain still from labor, uncontrolled bms and constant peeing, and not to mention the blood still as your body recooperates.

I have developed a Postpartum Thyroiditis. My CBC shows 5.47 thyroid, Low Rbs, Low Heamatocrit and Low Hb. My PCP says this is normal in postpartum peroid. Is it true? I have Hypothyroid symptoms like Dizziness, Wt Gain, Joint pain in wrist and Ankle, Irritability, pressure in the neck etc. Should this be treated? what other tests should be done to confirm Hypothyroidism? Please let me know ASAP, So I can change my PCP if needed. Thanks a lot.

Are you constipated? Still on pain medication? Eat or you will lose your milk. I'd talk to your doctor.

So many changes are occurring in your postpartum body, the pain in your breast is probably one of them. I just had my baby 8 weeks ago and right now I am a terrible mess too. Things should get better for you soon since your are 10 mths out.

I was diagnosed with MS in August of this year and this finger pain was one of the earliest symptoms after I fainted in Feb (but had no idea that was anything serious) - I went to a rheumatologist for the finger pain and he couldn't find anything but did think I had carpal tunnel and the nerve test for that is what started me on the path to a MS diagnosis.

I'm just over 34 weeks. For the last week or so, I've been waking up in the middle of the night and morning to really bad finger pain that lasts for aw hile! It's hard to bend my fingers and sometimes they make a popping feeling when I bend them. Middle three fingers on each hand are the worst. During the day, they're not "as" sore, but still a little. I can't seem to find anything about this in my baby books. My hands don't look swollen. Anyone else have this??
