I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. But also my doctor said that my vitamin D level was low so she put me on 50,000 units of it. I was wondering could my vitamin D level being low have anything to do with my fatigue and flu-like feeling? What are the usual symptoms of vitamin D level being low????

I can only turn my head to the left so far and I am getting pain and it goes up behind my ear and into my head could this be coming from my fibromyalgia? I have never had it there before. Mostly elbows and knees and shoulder sometimes.
First of all please try and find your words. Working with your doctors and being your own advocate is so important. If doctors don't have an exact answer they will pass you from one doctor to another. I have had similar experiences to you. I have cervical issues, I had ruptured a few discs in my cervical area and had headaches all the time. If you have symptoms and there is a bulging disc it sounds like to me it is potentially one of your issues.
i have fibromyalgia amongst other complaints.fro about 2 years i have had a swollen abdomen-lumpy and tender which progressed to sore and protruding ribs.have had ct and mri scans which gave no clues.doctors seem to ignore symptons,now i have a feeling of tightness around my ribs and am sore all around them.it feels like ribs are digging in me.
After the endoscopy we were given the diagnosis of chronic fatigue / fibromyalgia . Having been initially relieved that we finally had a diagnosis we are now starting to think differently. Once you have been tarred with this brush it would appear the doctors are not interested. My concern is how quickly this diagnosis has been made. I've read people can wait years before getting this confirmed as tests for all other conditions are looked into.
Hi I am pretty for sure I have Fibromyalgia some of my symptoms include Soar and stiff muscles in my legs and I just have a Flu like feeling all the time and also the pressure points you have. I have those also. Does this sound like Fibromyalgia to you.
Iam a mother with 2 young children and I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 4 years ago. Since then I have been suffering with extreme pain that never lets up. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, all that my doctor tells me to do is Exercise, and it's not working ( I don't really think she knows about Fibromyalgia). My knees joints are very painful. My doctors has referred me to a rheumotolgist and suspects this could be my diagnosis. One thing that boggles his mind is that my leg pain is not present on a good day until I am lying down for more than 30 minutes then horrible aching begins. I am a 26 year old guy who has had on/off back pain since last May. I have been to many doctors, chiropractor, physiatrist, orthopedist. rheumatologist. Ive had mri's, xrays on back and nothing shows up. Blood was checked by rheumatologist for everything he could think of and nothing showed.
The pain/discomfort went on for about 5 months , may -september. I never had pain elsewhere and was not very tired. From october to end of february, I have felt fine.
I am so tired of Doctors' connecting everything to my Fibromyalgia. My neck causes alot of pain, which radiates down my arm and into my head; Fibromyalgia. I have a hemmoragic ovarian cysts, which is causing intolerable pain; exasperated by Fibromyalgia. Chronic Migraine Headaches; Fibromyalgia. Knee pain and clicking; Fibromyalgia. I feel like finding all new doctors and not disclosing my Fibromyalgia, just so I can get an oppinion not fogged by Fibromyalgia.
What kind of doctor should I consult as my primary care provider for fibromyalgia?
