my 4 year old has been getting what looks like spotty skin on his legs/feet and arms/hands. when i google it..it looks like pictures of cutis marmorata or livedo reticularis. It is not really as bad as some of the pictures but you can surely notice it if you are looking. I am really worried about this. It has been coming and going for almost 2 months now. I have been to the doctor and ped and they seem unconcerned. It doesn't seem to happen when he is cold either.

I was wondering what the diagnosis was for your son's facial rash? My daughter is also one year old and has the exact same rash on her face and sometimes on her nose and near her eyes. My pediatrician has perscribed two different creams that did not work and he now has referred us to the dermatologist. I saw your son's picture and it looks so much like what my daughter has. I just wanted to find out if you were able to get something that cleared up his rash.
does she have abnormally pigmentation os the skin or puffy face. If so she may have cushing syndrome, it is usualy curable and is usually caused by a putuitary tumor or a primary adrenal gland dysfunction.
I decreased the dose back down, but the tingling/burning sensation has progressed to my whole face, tongue, lips, ears, sometimes eyes. I have a minor rash in patches on my face, but it is nothing compared to the steven-johnson rash pictures online. I was just wondering if anyone else had these type of symptoms and if they went away? This is the only medicine I have found to help me, and I really don't want to go off of it?
I have had this rash on my face for some time. I'd say 18 months, to 2 years.
Symptoms:
I have this red rash (as seen in the picture) that sometimes peels, and on rare occasions itches. It often becomes sore if I wash it with any kind of soap. If I just leave it alone most of the skin appears smooth, but in the crease on the side of my nose dead skin flakes off. Peeling rarely happens anywhere else.
It use to be just on the side, and end of my nose.
That night I noticed some itching to my arms. On Sunday I noticed raised red bumps on my arms, chest, and face. Today I went to the doctor he said it was either contact dermatitis or scabies. From what I have read scabies usually occur at the waist line, genital, under arms, feet, and under the breast. I’m fearful to use the cream he prescribed if it is not scabies. Any one ever have scabies or a reaction to hair dye like this?
Hey guys, new here. I came here trying to figure out this rash I have. I can say that I was diagnosed, twice (same doctor) that it is scabies. The problem I have is there is to much funny business and I guess I need to know for sure that I have an infestation of little guys literally crawling under my skin. The things I question are, the rash isn't in the "normal" places. None on my face, hands( between the fingers),wrist, or genitals but literally everywhere else.
So about 8 months ago my son who is 9 broke out in a rash/bumps which started on his butt cheeks, moved to his legs (mostly around ankles) but still had bumps on his theigh too, then He had about 15-20 bumps on his stomach, back, arms and neck. So I took him to the dr and the nurse practitioner diagnosed him with scabies. We treated him with the cream along with putting hydra Cortizone cream and Teatree oil all over his body. Within a week they went away.

My 17 month old daughter has a rash on the upper cheek of her face that has been there for over 4 months now. I was wondering if anyone has had Folliculitis face rash before. Yesterday a rash appeared on my face, i went to the doctors and they said it was Folliculitis face rash and perscribed me anabact anti - fungal cream??
I was just wondering if anyone had any info about Folliculitis and knows how long it lasts?
