I have been doing some research online and the pictures of children who have cold sores is horrible! Is there any sort of preventative treatment for children to make sure they do not suffer from a painful and horrible breakout? According to an article I read the intial breakout is much more severe.Is there a test that can be done to see if my child did infact contract the virus?
If no proper test has been done there is no way any Doctor can possibly give an HSV2 diagnosis on a 9yr old it may be that your Son has contracted HSV1 which many children do long before they reach adultdhood from well meaning Friends and Relatives who suffer from cold sores kissing the children, the fact that the rash is on his bottom does not automatically suggest HSV2 ......
(Although our first daughter passed away) I am getting maternity pictures done alone and also ones with our children and my husband. So therefore I am making a blog online for all mother's who need support and such stories as mine (multiple successful cesarean deliveries). We are getting ours done in the mall, it's a more so a private photographer. We are sending pictures to family members, using them for my blog and best of all....for our home (wall of fame lol).
My son is 10 and he woke up this morning with a quarter size red rash, that looks like a really bad burn , with little bubbles of fluid around the edges of the circle on his top side of his arm on his wrist. He said at first it was a little itchy. But now, he says it doesn't hurt, doesn't itch, and there is tighten of the skin around the rash. The Circle rash looks like he's been burn with a quarter that had been laid out in the sun for a very long time.
A weeks ago my husband and I notice small rash on my son lower back, we bought a rash cream but the rash never went away. The couple of days ago my son started to get a bunch on bumps on his leg, we waited a day before me took him to our doctor. the doctor said that it looked like a heat rash or small pimples, he also said it would go away by the next day. Its the ext day and the bumps went from his legs to his arms and it seem to be getting worse.
my 4 year old has been getting what looks like spotty skin on his legs/feet and arms/hands. when i google it..it looks like pictures of cutis marmorata or livedo reticularis. It is not really as bad as some of the pictures but you can surely notice it if you are looking. I am really worried about this. It has been coming and going for almost 2 months now. I have been to the doctor and ped and they seem unconcerned. It doesn't seem to happen when he is cold either.
t unusual to have your children play with other children to get it and like you said build an immunity to it. I'm not sure how it affects a baby, though...I think I was about 10 when I had it. Maybe you should call your doctor and ask, especially since she just received the vaccine.
It's also a bit strange that it's not itchy...because I remember it itching like crazy!!!
Basically i have this rash on my penis that is red and raised up a little bit. Its a little bit itchy but not so bad that i feel the need to see the doctor immediately. It also doesnt match the symptoms or pictures i have been able to look up enough for me to think it is herpes. One thing to add is that i have 2 pubic follicles at the base of the penis that have never produced hair that became inflamed around the same time. I am sexually active but always use a condom.
When do the rash come in the body during ARS.? Is it specific like in 4 weeks after possible exposure or it can come anytime in 12 weeks.
And can somebody be able to tell me how do they look like and its nature.

From the symptoms and pictures,it looks like nummular eczema(stubborn, itchy rash that forms coin-shaped patches on the skin.Found mainly in adults but can oocur in children also) , hives(red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours.Many cases of hives are "idiopathic," meaning no cause is known.

OK so about early October or late September I developed a random blotchy rash that appeared all over my body almost instantaneously. They are non raised, non itchy, pinpoint etc
I have informed countless doctors that lymphoma runs in my family, I have very large growing lymph nodes, my stools have changed, these appear on my arms and legs.
My 13month old daughter has a rash all over her body, the doctor says that it is a viral infection. She has small raised bumps that are alittle red. The thing that worries me is that it is still spreading, It does not seem to bother her at all, she is alittle cranky at night but she is also teething. I have had a test done so ill find out for sure soon, but im worried now because theres a sort of rash at the top of my right leg. There little bumps and theres also some on my stomach on the right side as well. Is this a concern? Im not sure exactly how long its been there. I know its said if you get any symptons it happens the first 2-4 weeks, although this is 15 weeks ago is it still possible symptons can show up?
