She gets the injections as part of an infertility treatment. She had the last injection (the third) a couple of weeks ago and since then things began to turn badly. Her eyes soar, her mouth is dry, she developed joint pains, and the worst part is that she cannot focus on the work she is doing (she is simply unable to concentrate). Not to mention the psychological effects. I read that the effects may last very long (months, even years)...
my follicles developed, but my estrogen stayed very low. So, next is hormone injections. Has anyone had a similar experience with success? I'm really worried that because I didn't respond to Clomid that NOTHING will work! This is so emotional and scary. Any feedback is greatly appreciated - thanks!
Hi! I was on clomid for a couple of months. I had some issues with my Estrogen not rising as it should as well!
He was diagnosed at the age of 19 with Hypogonadism due to a small pituitary gland. He takes injections three times a week of Norvel (testosterone). Today a workmen's comp dr took and x-ray of his wrist and said his growth plates are still open. His current Endo doctor said he would need to stop his injections and take another medication to close the plates. He doesn't want to stop the injections because of the effects it will cause him.
I was taking the series of injections up to Friday. My doctor stopped the cycle because my estrogen levels were really really low. I did have some follicles but it would not have been worth going through the IVF.
Can you still ovulate with low estrogen? Will the estrogen levels increase?

ve had 24/7 migraines following a stroke at age 56. I took no estrogen the first year. Then I went on an estrogen patch, then another one with a higher dose, and then another still higher dose and no difference with the migraines which were gradually becoming better from other treatments. So the estrogen may not be the cause.
But if I'm even a few hours late with changing the patch, my migraines become severe. Any change in the hormones can trigger migraines.
Since that time I have gained weight that I cannot lose, my cholesteral level has risen to a danger zone and now take medication also B12 injections. I suffer from fatigue, memory loss, cold sensitivety and other problems. I recently had a FSH test done and was told the levels indicate I am still producing estrogen.
t know why you would be on hCG. Are you certain the injections are not estrogen? Progesterone is to keep you from shedding your uterine lining, and aspirin is to help the embryo with implantation, but if it is really hCG I do not know why that would be. You might check the third one to see if that is really what it is.
My dr just put me on it after a failed FET, and I have a massive fibroid that has grown as a result of all the estrogen I was on. The LupronDepot injections should shrink the fibroid and we will transfer another embryo.
im 48 f, i have periods every 2 weeks for the last 8 months, i also have been getting b12 injections, im depressed but my cheeks and jawline are turning brown, i use sun block , foundation wont cover it, i have also noticed that i have some white patches appearing on my torso and my hand, web searches say conflicting info, high thyroid/low thyroid and hormone imbalance, is this the reason why my periods are like they are ?
Progesterone, baby aspirin and estrogen are standard protocol after ivf. Follistim is a drug also used in ivf (fsh drug). Progesterone itself is needed to Help support and maintain your uterine lining.
Idk why she is giving these injections . It's supposed to be produced naturally in our body during pregnancy isn 't it?

The only day I missed at work was the day of transfer. Pretty much estrogen patches from cd1 on and progesterone injections from cd13(I think) on. It is really a cake walk compared to stims for IVF.
Hi I was wondering if anyone experienced negative side effects from the depo shot? Normal birth contrl pills make me extremely nauseous due to the estrogen, and I can't tolerate it. From my understanding depo does not contain estrogen?

s hard to answer your question without knowing what your full protocol was. Did your RE do assisted hatching? Were you put on estrogen patches and progesterone injections during the TWW?
I'm not too familiar with Cerophine, but I was on clomid for 5 months, 3 of those being with iui, and every time my lining wasn't too thick. It was around 8 mm at ovulation time. When conception happens, you want as thick a lining as you can get b/c it's what the baby needs to attach to for the pregnancy to continue. The thicker your lining, the better chance of pregnancy.
