Avatar m tn When you start noticing more and more breakthrough periods, that means the estrogen that is in the IUD is running low and the IUD needs to be replaced.
Avatar f tn hormone replacement therapy isn't always enough. topical estrogen cream is often needed too. also even if you don't have discharge, get tested for vaginitis. bv esp is often asymptomatic and can trigger herpes to be more active.
Avatar n tn It is called leukorrhea. During pregnancy, it is there because of increased estrogen and increased blood flow to the area.
Avatar f tn ve read that estrogen dominance can lead to abdominal bloating, excess white discharge, and breast changes as well. I have never had bad PMS symptoms before this. My period has not come yet, I'm not sure when it will, and I started taking birth control pills today. I am not pregnant, and there is no possibility that I could be. What's causing the delay of my period, and is it the excess estrogen causing all of these changes? What can I do?

Avatar f tn My last day of active pills was Friday and my period has still not come. I have been getting bad back cramps and brown discharge. Should I worry? I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I'm thinking my period is just late because of the stress I have been under. Thanks for any answers, I've just been worried!

Avatar m tn your body is producing more estrogen and there is more blood flow going to your uterus so this makes our uterus make this white discharge.
Avatar f tn Im havong a hirl so i had extra estrogen from what the doctor told me.
Avatar f tn Yes, that is in not really a sign of pregnancy but a sign of hormonal imbalance. I had this and it is called prolactemia. They checked me via MRI for a small tumor (that is not a threat of cancer) in my prolactin gland. I did not have one. However, I did produce too much estrogen. My hormones righted themselves and this stopped for me. I'd ask your doctor about it and they will probably do blood work. But would not fear pregnancy just because of this.
Avatar n tn For the last past two days I've been experiencing itching and burning sensations in the vaginal region. It also occurs when I urinate. I've tried vagisil which usually works but this time it made the itching and burning worse. I don't have an odor but my discharge is kind of a thick off white color. Im not able to see the doctor until next week. What can I do until then.
1121273 tn?1325367975 I had that during all of my pregnancies early on also.... and, I still have a LOT of discharge, white/clear but not clumpy...it's annoying but there's no odor or anything and the dr. says that it is normal...
578042 tn?1217657987 I just found out a few days ago im pregnant with #2 and so far my cm as increased more then usual. I usually have alot of cm all throughout my cycle. My first child I had so much cm all throughout the pregnancy that I wore a panty liner. With my first it was creamy like lotion, and so far with this one its creamy as well. Avatar f tn I was without estrogen for some time in this year, and then I used local estrogen (Vagifem) and Vaginal balans. My vagina and vaginal atrium and urethra are in poor condition. I have also had osteopenia previously. And I have hypercalcemia, I should not use calcium pills. Could it be possible that I have cystitis or vaginitis? I hardly have any discharge from vagina. I had my first bacterial vaginitis in January this year. I had abnormal bleeding before it.
Avatar f tn like today i had off from work, and didnt do alot of walking around and the rash, itch and slight discharge disappeared lol i think its some kind of heat rash i have no idea.
Avatar f tn I had and still have the same discharge, it is an early pregnancy symptom discharge. It's called "leucorrhea", a vaginal discharge that is odorless or mild-smelling milky discharge that you can see appear in your underwear because of increased estrogen production and greater blood flow to the vaginal area.
Avatar f tn As well as the discharge and bloated do you also have gas or wind?I have spasms in left side that are made worse by certain foods especially coffee.Sounds like IBS to me,get your doctor to confirm it and if it is then you need to change your diet asap. Not too much fibre and only 2 portions of fruit per day as any more makes IBS a lot more severe.
Avatar m tn ( at this point, go and be seen again by a gyn and make sure they take the time to do a proper exam and testing. a lack of discharge doesn't mean a lack of vaginal infection. sometimes a lack of estrogen is the issue too and topical estrogen creams are needed.
Avatar f tn I'm an 18 year old cisgender female with an intact uterus and low estrogen/progesterone. To counter this, my doctor has prescribed me 100 mcg Estradot patches and 200 mg Microgest. I have absolutely HORRIBLE reaction to the Microgest -- horrific nausea, constipation, excessive vaginal discharge, headaches, constantly feel drunk, etc. I have been taking it 3 months now, so I know this is not a fluke.
Avatar f tn if your test results come back negative, definitely time to look for other causes. Usually chronic infection with yeast causes skin issues like you've described though sometimes it's just a lack of estrogen in our genital skin that causes it to be more delicate and tear easier.
Avatar f tn Ohkay thanks girls:)
