Then I had another vet recommend an eye swab for the kittens. It came back positive for D355 Mycoplasma. I then checked my other cats and they have it too. The adult cats are now all on Doxycycline but I was told there's nothing else I can treat the kittens with since they are so young.
Now here is my problem... One vet told me that the Doxycycline will cure the Mycoplasma and everyone will be fine.
I can not afford any vet at all right now, but I need to do something. If Doxycycline Monohydrate is not okay, is grape flavor liquid tylenol for infants?

then the PCR test was done and results were positive for mycoplasma, so we did 3 weeks on doxycycline (cycle ended yesterday). some improvement, but now more sneezing and still some clear eye discharge. yesterday, our vet recommended 2-3 additional weeks on doxy, told me it could be allergies or just a stubborn mycoplasma infection. if 2-3 more weeks don't stop the symptoms, we could see an internist for a CAT scan and another test to look up the cat's nasal passages. any thoughts?
Now I go to my urologist and all he says is you should take doxycycline before anything else and sets me on my way. I take doxycycline Hyclate for 7 days, 2 pills a day. Not only did this not work but it made my tongue yellow.. Why?? I just came back from my second visit to the urologist and i forgot to mention the yellowing of my tongue. I told him i still have symptoms of leakage with no actual leakage, at least I don't think there's any leakage.
My vet have not test my cat for leukemia or for feline aid yet, because I told her that I had cats infected with leukemia so probably Mafalda also is infected.
Mafalda is still acting normaly, despite her pupil dilated, she is still eating and looking healthy. Mafalda is going to go to the ophthalmologist's office next monday for a medical check.

NO....doxycycline is an antibiotic to fight bacterial infections....cancer is NOT an infection.
I am so sorry your kitty's diagnosis...can I ask what type of cancer and where?
the very best thing you can do for her yourself if not doing chemotherapy is to feed a very good diet high in protien..good protien in CANNED foods, not meat by-products like most cheaper cat foods have.
and preferably one with NO grains...these are just fillers and take away from the amount of protein in the can.
Ive been on doxycycline for 3 1/2 days, and the discharge has not gone away at all.. may have even worsened. My vagina hurts excruciatingly every time I pee. How long till the pain and discharge goes away?
The vet prescribed doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 3 weeks. My dog seems fine without any obvious symptoms. Can we just give him the doxycycline 100mg once a day instead because the medication may cause nausea/vomiting. Also after 3 weeks medication, how do you he is treated ? Any advice !
