CT enterography evaluates the stomach, small bowel (duodenum, jejunum, and ileum), large bowel (ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon,
sigmoid colon, and rectum) as well as appendix. On the other hand,
colonoscopy evaluates only rectum, sigmoid colon, descending colon, transverse colon, ascending colon, and terminal ileum (very end of small bowel).
