bloating yahoo

I'm thankful that I found this board, I considered going on yahoo answers but thought I maybe flagged, well here it goes. I tend to have multiple bowel movements, more so when I'm out and about like school or work. I went to the restroom twice and 1 hour today before I ate anything. Ive had gas for awhile and I find it difficult to sit in a quiet room "classroom" for more than an hour because I have to pass gas.

t start till June I can go to class next quarter Yahoo. Even if USC changes my mind about who does it I can still push it off till summer. I can't stay home I just can't.

I walked to the library without stopping and back (with a bathroom break and grabbed a couple of books inbetween) with the walker. I wasn't able to do it without stopping a lot 2 weeks ago. Yahoo. Oh and I started PT exercises on Thursday. It went well. I'm still working on getting off the walker.

I continue to have residual symptoms such as GERD, gastritis with bloating, RUQ pain, nausea after eating certain foods and a burning sensation in the bottom of my stomach. I have learned over the years to take my medication religiously, eat smaller portions and to avoid foods which are more acidic. However, I still feel nauseous and bloated daily. I am beginning to feel bloated even after I eat small portions of food.

Got the final word it's definately Gastroparesis...finally an answer to the bloating, fullness and downright feeling bad. I tried Reglan and it did not help at all. My doc just put me on Domperidone which I had to get at a compounding pharmacy because it apparently isn't FDA approved yet. Has anyone been on this stuff?? Does it help? I am on 10 mgs 3 times daily. I would like some relief from this.

And what else is odd, its helping me with tummy troubles too, like the bloating, cramping, diarreah.... I have had diarreah for 16 years, and for the past week or so, it seems to have stopped. And the added bonus to Glucerna is your getting your vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbs, etc all in one drink. I love the idea of replacing a meal with a quick drink! Hope this helps.

Did anyone else read front page of yahoo this morning? This new hydro sounds very very scary. It looks like they are gonna get approved and they are hoping to have it on market by 2013. That is so stupid! Ugh! Between doctors pill pushers and drug companies they are gonna have the whole world addicted to this crap! Very scary stuff!

this is just a idea...those who have yahoo messenger and would like to share, please post it here...i would love to be able to chit chat with ya's and if you need someone to talk to it is easier to catch me on yahoo than it is to find me on here...especially if i am trying to NOT look too much...lol...dh thinks that it gets my hopes up too much when i read the posts all day everyday. anyhow i will start...

I belong to a support group [SODP] that is wonderful. To find it, search the web for Yahoo! groups. Once you have the page where you can search the Yahoo! groups, search or "sphincter". There are about five of them. Only two of them are really worth joining. Michele's [Sphincterofoddi_pancreatitis] is by far the best as she is a registered nurse and an uncommonly kind, empathetic and supportive woman. Maddi's [sphincterofoddi-pancreatitis1] is wonderful, too.

Before the surgery I had complaits of left side aching/bloating (usually right under the ribs and down) After the surgery the surgeon told me he looked around in the area and saw nothing out of the ordinary. He seemed puzzed about the left side area and told me to see my GI about it. About 3 days after the surgery, it all started back so I started a low fat diet and it has eased up a little.

There is a pancreatitis group at yahoo that could answer all of your questions. These folks have been through it all.
