Bloating gas diarrhea

Common Questions and Answers about Bloating gas diarrhea

Avatar m tn Now, there is constant gas formation, mild diarrhea (2-3 times a day) and bloating. Sometimes, I have to urinate frequently. I do not have fever or weight loss or do not see blood in my stools. The stool is not properly formed and I think i am not able to digest properly. I drink water at a regular basis and avoid soda. I am not understanding what is causing the problem because I never had this kind of problem earlier.

Avatar n tn - fibre-rich foods (legumes) - sugar (feeds intestinal bacteria that produce gas) - lactose intolerance - fructose malabsorption - irritable bowel syndrome, which usually means that certain foods (you have to identify them yourself) may irritate your bowel. OK, without constipation or diarrhea it's not likely you have IBS. I would recommend you low-sugar diet (low fructose, lactose and table sugar), which is certainly not the same as low-starch (low-carb) diet. More: http://www.medhelp.
Avatar n tn You could ask your doctor if you may have IBS cause I have some similar symptoms and that is one of the things that is wrong with me that may cause bloating. But one of my questions would be do you have diarrhea or constipation?
Avatar f tn IBS is a NON life-threatening disorder of the gastrointestinal tract characterized by abdominal pain, diarrhea, gas, bloating and changes in bowel habits. If you have IBS, you may have one or more of these symptoms as they vary among individuals. It's important to note that women make up nearly 75% of IBS sufferers.

1047147 tn?1328909754 Lupron causes increase in certain hormones, and these hormones may increase further with self stimulation/masturbation. Diarrhea, bloating and gas are side effects of Lupron and with increased hormone production, this can get aggravated. However, it could also be due to something you ate causing indigestion or a mild case of food poisoning. It is difficult to diagnose this on net. Please discuss with your treating doctor. Take care!
Avatar n tn The third reason for gas may be intestinal inflammation, which would result in reduced absorption of nutrients - which would be then consumped by bacteria, which would produce gas as the end result. In this case you would probably also have diarrhea. So, suggest a doctor to send you on breath test to check for 1. and 2., it shouldn't be expensive. Doctor will also want to order a stool test.
Avatar m tn I realize that abdominal bloating and gas are very common complaints. But am very concerned, somewhat anxious and getting depressed, so am seeking any guidance or information that anyone in this forum has to offer. Developed abdominal bloating, gas, and burning sensation in the navel area about 3.5 weeks ago. No nausea, fever, vomiting, but constipation. Went to ER a few days later. Abdominal and chest xrays, urinalysis, blood work, abdominal ultrasound were all normal at that time.
Avatar n tn What is more concerning to me is that for at least the last year I have had a lot of issues with gas, bloating, upset stomach and constant loose stools. Not necessarily diarrhea, but not formed. I also have cramping similar to menstrual cramps most days of the week, with some days being much worse to the point of needing to lay down. I have constant dull pain in my lower left pelvis. My regular doctor said "IBS" the gyno said "I don't know".

Avatar n tn Basically, I am dealing with abdominal bloating/distention and intestinal gas (functional bloating). When this issue started a few years ago, it seemed like the intestinal gas was the more prominent issue. However, it is the daily distention that is affecting my quality of life. It is extremely uncomfortable and sometimes downright painful (the pressure); not to mention it can potentially be embarrassing.

Avatar f tn severe abdominal pain, gas, bloating, nausea, and diarrhea. I feel like I felt when I had my gallbladder attack. I've mentioned this to my sister and she brought up something called "phantom attacks". Is she correct? I've never heard of this before. I'm very concerned. I keep looking up symptoms for colon cancer and other ailments, my grandmother passed away from colon cancer.
Avatar f tn I have had mild to severe back and abdominal pain, diarrhea, gas, and bloating in my abdomen for 5 days now. It started Wednesday night, and the pain came on suddenly after I had been off work a few hours. This was the next to last day of work at an archaeological site, which lasted 6 weeks. I was not used to the work, I think this may have something to do with this. Anyhow, I skipped dinner wednesday because of the pain being so severe.
Avatar f tn it can be normal, or dehydrated, or loose (diarrhea type), or spasmodic. Does anybody know what it is I have? Do I have to live on anti-gas pills for the rest of my life?

Avatar n tn Okay, so here's a timeline of my symptoms. Every time I look stuff up, I get really scary possibilities, so I'm hoping someone can confirm or deny them. Sep/Oct - itchy, red rash on groin, thighs, arms, torso; doctor gave me Nystatin/Triamcinolone. It went away but came back in early December Dec 23 - severe diarrhea, gas & bloating. The gas & bloating was the worst, most painful i've ever had. It went away within 48 hrs, but the diarrhea has continued. Dr.
Avatar m tn About a week afterwards, I started experiencing extreme bloating and gas. I figured it would pass since I'm young and have never had any serious health issues. A week later, the gas persisted, and I saw a doctor to get blood work done (liver function, etc.), and to test for intestinal parasites. Everything came back normal or negative. The doctor said the gas might be due to a virus, and the symptoms should disappear by themselves.
Avatar f tn I have had IBS for years, never given medication, I have almost daily diarrhea for years but worse, and now very unexplained abdominal bloating. My family physician said maybe gastritis so I changed diet and no relief. My life feels ruined. Please help.
