t remember having energy in my 2nd pregnancy, or this one...but I DID have it briefly during my first pregnancy in the 3rd trimester...I started getting antsy at about 35 weeks and didn't sit still or stop walking and swimming until I delivered at 40wks, lol.
It just depends on your body, but HOPEFULLY you'll get a break in the 2nd tri..I never have, but I have some friends who did :-).
I'm 13 weeks pregnant and I have this HORRIBLE lower back pain its so bad I can't even bend down to wash my hands or scratch my lower legs I have to squat I've tried cracking my lower back but it doesn't crack and nothing is helping. is it common to have lower back pain during pregnancy and what can I do to make it go away.? or feel a little better.?
This is my first pregnancy and I'm in the second trimester and have been experiencing very painful cramping since before I found out I was pregnant. The doctor had said it was growing pains but should be gone by the end of the first trimester. I'm still having these pains. What could it be?
I just started my second trimester also. I still have morning sickness and tired as ever but so glad to be in the "safe" zone.
My question is what are the possible effects of general anesthesia in the second trimester of pregnancy. She had her wisdom teeth pulled but at this point did not know she was pregnant. She also remained on birth control for a few months after conception. Just curious so I know how to support her best.

I'm just wondering if anyone else who is on their second pregnancy is having a lot if pain. I'm only 18wks 4days. I been feeling a lot of pressure and pain anytime I cough or If I walk more than 10 minutes long. The pain is right where my c section scar is. Been felling like this since around 14 wks. Is this normal for second pregnancy? Just seems too early for me to have this kind of problem?
I havnt enjoyed sex at all during my entire pregnancy.. id have to say there was one time when i was in the second trimester that I really really wanted it, but that one time only.. me and hubby have prolly only done it like 15 times this whole pregnancy ( i am almost 38 weeks) the other 14 times was just for hubby cause after awhile i felt bad lol.. but now that im full term my goal is to do it everyday or so.. to get that sperm on my cervix so hubby is def. happy now!!! lol...
In my first trimester I was very sick. I couldn't keep anything down. I was actually in bed for about a month. My second trimester I've had acidic problems where I'm in a lot of pain and heartburn, headaches, nausea here and there, FATIGUE, food cravings, bloated and peeing every 45minutes to an hour. I have back pain and tend to get uncomfortable when sleeping and during sex.
my doctor has told me that is safe to take wellbutrin during pregnancy, even before the second trimester.
Lower back pain is considered a common early sign of pregnancy. I experienced lower back pain early on, but it subsided after 12w or so. Now is a good time to strengthen and stretch the back muscles using yoga or pilates to keep it from being too painful in the 3rd trimester. Hope all goes well in your 2nd pregnancy.
I think the farther along in the pregnancy, the harder! My first trimester wad easy! No sickness full energy! My second trimester was good until I got to the 3rd trimester im currently 30+1 weeks and I'm so tired, pee all the time! Can barely get out of bed! Can't bend down and pick stuff up! I actually cried today when I was picking stuff up , because my bf wouldn't! Im done being pregnant!!!
The past few days I've had mild cramps and back pain, and today I went to the bathroom and when I wiped, I saw very very faint brown blood. Now every time I go to the bathroom (which is often) I see that! And the second to last time I went, it was pretty heavy brown spotting. Is this normal? Im supposed to be 5wks today.
I asked a doctor that comes into the place I work at and he said it wont hurt the baby, its partially in due to standing on a hard floor for so long and during the second trimester our bodies are doing so much moving and shifting especially our pelvic which is connected to our back so we feel more in our back than in our pelvis. If youre still concerned next time you go to the doc I would ask and make sure with your doctor. Hope all is well and you have a great and long pregnancy!!
Most OB's recommend that you continue with your regular dental visits because if you develop a dental related infection during pregnancy it can cause preterm labor among other things. That being said, I have read that 1st trimester work is the biggest gamble & have personally had a root canal done during my second trimester.
Same happened to me. turns out I have gallstones. You should talk to your doctor to rule out gallstones and kidney infections. They didn't find mine until 30 weeks so now I have to live with it until baby's here, where as I could've gotten It removed in the second trimester and avoided this pain.
