Avatar n tn Over the next 3 weeks the back pain continued. It is pretty much constant,I will occationally notice that I dont hurt but then shortly after I notice it returns. It is in the middle of my back on both sides. It does occationally move down to right under my rib cage. I had the surgery and shortly after returning home I noticed the back pain was still there. I called my surgen who had me go to the er. In the er the ran more blood work and did another ultra sound and a ct scan and took a urine.

Avatar m tn Hi, i am 42 years old male. I have been experiencing back pain for the last few years. I have done MRI and few x-rays which showed narrowing of the disk space. But I have not really been treated for these problems (I have seen few doctors and they just gave me pain killer medicine and life style changes). What is the real treatment? Should I ask for the steroid injection? My doctor also has told me that I have arthritis symptoms. Please advise.

Avatar n tn I had neck pain and shorter blade pain as well. I found going to a chiropractor helped quite a bit, through chiropractic adjustment, and adjustments to posture. I also found out later on that since my car accident I had a cervical disk pressing on my spine. Since the surgery the neck pain and shoulder blade pain has been considerably better.

6794082 tn?1384952416 Some people get chiropractic adjustments for symptomatic relief. In other words, they have an ache or pain of some kind and chiropractic care offers them relief. Other people choose to get adjusted for wellness reasons. The improved motion, flexibility, and overall well-being they notice after the adjustments motivates them to continue receiving care on an elective basis. Ultimately, the answer to your question depends on why you're receiving the care you're receiving.

Avatar m tn I have been going to a chiropractor for several weeks and my back is starting to feel better, until two days ago. All of a sudden my back pain intensified and I have trouble sleeping because of it. Its unusually bad. I think its has to do with my walking.I started taking the dog for a walk a week ago and it seems to hurt my back a lot. Its a dull ache at the bottom of my spine. The chiropractor claims that my pain is due to one leg being slightly longer.
Avatar m tn My husband has been experienced back pain on an off for several years now. The pain started at his sciatica which eventually went away after getting injections to help with the pain. Slowly he started complaining of pain under his shoulder blades and mid back. Pain along both sides of his spine. This pain is becoming worse and now seems to be also radiating to his ribs/sides. He complained yesterday of pain under his rib.
Avatar f tn Thanks for writing. Low back pain itself is not the cause of digestive problems. However, the same problem that is causing your low back pain could ALSO cause digestive trouble. So it's not the "pain" that is causing anything... Pain is an effect, not a cause. When the head, neck and spine are unbalanced, muscles can spasm, ligaments get strained, and nerve tissue can be irritated. This is a recipe for pain! The same nerves that control back muscles also contribute to digestion.
210982 tn?1280983895 You rub it on the area of pain. My uncle who had cancer found that it was the only thing that took his back pain away. It has some sort of lidocaine, novocaine, or zylocaine properties in it that numbs the area of pain.I think you would benefit from it. You can pick it up from Walmart. If not, ask your doc For some Zylocaine Jelly. This is prescription strength and numbs the area really good, without making you feel high.Hope this helps.
