Common Questions and Answers about Allergy symptoms unusual

allergies

Avatar f tn I think allergy can be ruled out. Carcinoid is a tumor which grows slowly in the intestinal tract OR in ovaries OR in lungs. Symptoms depend on which substance tumor secretes, but these flashes are quite typical. Well, if you think, flashes are connected with heartburn, than all this may be from reflux. It seems so from your first post. Flashes in the upper chest, spider nevuses on the face, occasional diarrhea or difficult breathing are main symptoms of carcinoid.
Avatar f tn ve never caused tingling like this. Not sure what is going on?? With all the symptoms listed online the thought of herpes is a little scary, but I know it could be many things like using a scented soap in the shower, allergy to semen, bacterial infection... There are no sores or bumps or pain during urination. Just this damn tingling that's driving me crazy! Any ideas? And should I not be continuing to have intercourse?
Avatar f tn I thought that maybe I was allergic to something (because it itched and if I touched/scratched it, it made the swelling turn red and more swollen). (Skin swelling does not usually indicative of a food allergy (around the mouth, upset stomach, hives show food allergies.) I didn't wear any makeup for over a week with NO result in less swelling. So I ruled out makeup. I have also ruled out shampoo, conditioner, and laundry soap. Now in January, my facial swelling has gotten worse.
Avatar m tn Have asthma and know that in the hospital I will be staffed with more cortizone type medicine. Should not there be some remedy for relieving symptoms? Definitely I have allergy, feel synus. Why the only recommendation are steroids?

Avatar n tn My daughter has nearly all the classic symptoms for celiac, but her bloodwork came back negative. Is this unusual? I had to request an endoscopy to confirm it - the GI dr agreed to do it but says she probably just has a wheat/gluten allergy and that an allergist will have to diagnose that. I thought celiac was an allergy to gluten...any input would be greatly appreciated.
587609 tn?1272996141 i expected to start my period again sometime last week or over the weekend. but instead of starting my period i have been experiencing some very unusual symptoms... it is normal for my breasts and nipples to be very sore and swollen before my period, and they have been for about 4 days now, but i am also noticing that i am extremely fatigued. it doesn't seem to matter if i get the right amount of sleep, or if i try to sleep longer than usual.
Avatar n tn It certainly seems like the symptoms of angina with the exception of the few minutes recovery time. If you stop, it normally goes away within a minute. A heart will normally reduce its rate very quickly. I would certainly mention it to your Doctor.
Avatar f tn I feel king of dumb asking this, but has anyone here had an allergic reaction to bees that comes back hours later? After getting stung by bees I usually have about a 20-30 minute "window" to get to my epi shot and benedryl -my reaction is unusual in that I get dizzy, my blood pressure crashes, and my throat and chest get really tight. -No rashes or redness...
Avatar f tn The truth is, no one can say for sure. Peanut allergies are also on the rise in the little ones. Some kids do outgrow certain allergies, but this really does vary from individual to individual. For now, keep peanut products away from him and read labels and watch for warnings. There are labels warning of products that are not peanut products that say that they are made on the same equipment as where peanuts were processed. Be on the alert for this, depending on how severe his allergy is.
Avatar m tn I'm not entirely sure what a "vaginal sleeve" is - maybe a female condom? In any case, after 2 months of symptoms, you need to see your doctor. When they did the testing, did they check your urine for red and white blood cells? You can get something called NGU - non-gonoccocal urethritis, meaning any infection not caused by gonorrhea - in your urethra caused by normal mouth bacteria.
