I then returned to taking all above meds , but stopped the Naproxen. Within less than 12 hours I was numb again both physically and mentally and no longer sweating or able to feel hunger or bladder etc. and waas no longer itchy.
Just received results of SPECT brain scan - which was completed while I was NOT taking Naproxen - but was taking all of the above drugs.

on day 10....today my doctor prescribed me Naproxen for my chronic back pain. I know I could search this, but would rather ask anyone with any experience with it's use. Good idea or not to use after 10 days clean. I dont even know if it's a "mild" narcotic or not, however I believe it's similar to Aleeve. Advice? thanks in advance.
00 PM, then in the afternoon the next day, I'd still have the equivalent of 1 unit of Naproxen in my system due to half-life metabolization. This would mean that if I drank alcohol that afternoon, it is the same as if I had just taken 1 naproxen on top of whatever I'm drinking. Yes? I would think so because the liver still has that unit to metabolize on top of the alcohol you are now consuming.
My pulse is exceptionally weak and my blood pressure is 156/90 after taking one (1) 500mg Naproxen and an amphetamine. I went and got my blood pressure checked, as well as my resting heart rate. The nurse never actually tried to feel my pulse, though. So I came home and I am very worried about how weak my pulse is. Has anybody heard weather or not taking Naproxen with an amphetamine can be harmful because it is not in the drug facts and I cannot find anything about it online either.
Naproxen is similar to Motrin or Nuprin or any of the other anti-inflammatory agents that are used to relieve menstrual pain, and it is very safe and works very well. It is my number one choice to prescribe for dysmenorrhea.
If you are at the point in life that you are "trying" you could still use it during your periods-- just not during ovulation.

Congrats to him for his clean time,and congrats to you for sticking with him through this!! Regarding the naproxen and his kidneys, I'm pretty sure naproxen is considered an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory). NSAID's can cause kidney issues. It is possible that he may have done some damage to his liver/kidneys from his abuse of the pills. How long was he using,and how much?
I am not diagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis yet sice all the test results are negative, but the doctor thinks i might be catching the early stage of the one. My doctor prescribed Naproxen. I took it and it works for the meantime but does it actually prevent from arthritis to stop the development of the disease or the symptom, or it's just a temporary pain relief?
I have not bled since, and there is no trace in the urine. I am aware that naproxen and zoloft can make you bleed easier, so i thought that might be the cause. So my first question is, does my problem as a whole sound like prostatitis? and secondly do you have any insight on this on the blood coming from the urethra? I spoke with my GP about it, and he assumed it would be minor trauma due to sex.

i get tired of being stiff, cant take naproxen anymore, makes my hands swell up some, so now Dr told me to take 1 moltrin in am and pm.. its helping a bit..
Correct. Ibuprofen or Naproxen, but not both. One or the other. I find Naproxen the most helpful, as it works more quickly. Aleve is a brand name for OTC Naproxen. Tyelenol is in a different category. Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS) are the ones you want to treat inflammation. Aspirin is also in this class. Again, only use one form of these and not all of them.
I'm a twenty two year old female, and I've been dealing with anxiety for a year this month. I've searched endlessy and sadly have found no answers for my chest pain. I've been to the ER three times, Urgent Care 8 and at least five Doctors. I've also had 7 EKGs, 2 chest e-rays and numerous bloodwork done -- all of which have come back fine. I was on Paxil, but it didn't work, so I went to zoloft, but that didn't work either.
I have been having really bad anxiety on and off. The Dr. gave me Zoloft and it seems to have helped with my anxiety. But as it is I have a very hard time getting restful sleep. When I do sleep I have ongoing dreams and my mind doesn't get any rest. Now with the Zoloft my sleep is much less restful. Any suggestions?
Be really careful with all NSAIDS Ibuprofen and Naproxen are both NSAIDS. Mellie83 is right that they are hard on the stomach. I thought I was being careful in my use of the Naproxen the neurologist wants me to use on my migraines. I still ended up with gastritis. And, I already have GERD. You don't want to add gastritis to your list of problems when you're dealing with FMS already!
I had a no-scalpel vasectomy 6 months ago. Recovery seemed fine, though I had a bit of soreness for a week or so. Over the next few weeks, I experienced more soreness -- constant dull aches, but sharper if I stood up quickly after sitting. The urologist checked and said there was some "congestion" in the tubes, essentially, and prescribed Naproxen, which seemed to help. After a cycle of that and some time off, the aches returned.
I had been on Zoloft for the past 5 months and before that Paxil (the lowest dosages for both). When I found out I was pregnant I stopped taking Zoloft but the depression and anxiety has returned. I would like to go back on Zoloft but am concerned if, because I quit "cold turkey", it's okay to do so. Should I ease back into it, or can I continue to take it as I had been? I've tried contacting my doctor but have not received a response.
