Latly i been getting a lot of yeast infections i never had them before ....when my doctor gave me medicine it was a one day pill i had relief for two days then it came back so i baught a three day treatment from walgreens and its worked for a week or so and now.
I believe they are common during pregnancy and yes your bf doing his business in there could be a factor... I don't get yeast infections but I get really irritated down there after sex.
I am so sick of the yeast infections, Ill try anything!! And dont flip out theyre so normal in women.

I used 2 get yeast infections in past but only 1-2 in a year. but this time it is chronic. I have to pee every 1 hour and the next day my vulva becomes red and i get the curdy discharge (all this seems to start right after periods and seems to last the entire mnth till next period ) I have had positive c albicans yeast cultures. Monistat works like a charm for yeast infections! That's what my doctor told me I could take. Just over the counter. He recommended the 7-day treatment. Baby is protected by the bubble she's in, so the medication does not get to him/her. Perfectly safe! Unless as previously said, you have any other complications. I would talk to your doctor before you do anything. And like they said, anti biotics are needed for a bacterial infection. Good luck!

But if you were treated you most likely did not give him anything. Plus if you did he would have about the same symptoms as you have. Sounds like he has the flu..

When my hemoglobin and ferritin levels were low I had this problem. As soon as I began iron supplements and my levels increased the yeast infections went away. I haven't had one in appx 9 months.
