I been having yeast infection on and off and haven't been treating it cause it only last a day or two. Now I have a yeast infection and it last over 2 days. I need to call my doctor tm sap.
u must get checked. if your positive that's a yeast infection, then there is so many ways to eliminate it. i used to have yeast infection before, i tried using natural remedies such as yogurt and such but it didn't worked. so i went to the local drugstore and get myself a garlic oil capsules/softgel. it really works for me and it also kills odor around the vaginal area.
t know about any home remedies, but you could pick up an over the counter Vagisil screening kit. The kit can indicate whether you have a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, or something more serious in which you would need to see the doctor for. As far as the home pregnancy test, I'd try again using first morning urine if you haven't already. Hope this helps until you can get in to see the doctor.
I have a yeast infection I believe I have a red skin rash around me and I itch sum. Its being a pain to go away. Monistat and crap like that just isn't cutting and I haven't gotten ahold of the Dr. I'm trying some natural remedies like garlic I used the gel out of a garlic capsule. He didn't prescribe me anything because he said it's too early and to wait until the second trimester, but I've heard of natural remedies, such as the garlic clove in the vagina that cures yeast infections. I have never heard of a yeast infection being linked to preterm labour, but I am not a Dr. either so I certainly don't know that for sure. I do know you shouldn't just ignore it, nor should you try to treat it yourself with an over the counter remedy. You should see your Dr. I don't know it this applied to yeast infections, but I do know that small issues can be bigger problems during pregnancy and your Dr. is the best person to diagnose and treat you appropriately.
Plain natural yoghurt. Dunk a tampon (non aplicator kind) into the yoghurt, get a decent amount on there and insert then leave in for a hour or so. Dont put it too far up, its best to sit down while its in, watch tv or something and then remove...u will need to put a liner on after taking out. If its not gone by the next day, repeat. Ive never had to do this more than twice.

My most helpful things:
1) Anti-inflamatory diet. Can't say enough good about this. No stabbing pain since the diet change. I have lost 10 lbs. and feel really good.
2) Pro-biotics. 40 bucks at a health food store. Re-introducing all the good bacteria that the anti-biotics destroyed along with the bad. I feel like it is restoreing my immune system.
3) Calcium Benzonite Clay. (or healing clay) also from a Health Food Store. Applied to the breast like a poltice. Draws the infection out.
So now I have a case of yeast infection. If it's not one thing it's another. I don't know the soonest I will see my doctor. So now I need to know... Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can take safe to hold me on on this uncomfortable feeling of having a yeast infection until I see a doctor? Any safe home remedies money is tight?

I've taken the medicines I've been prescribed. I've tried so many natural remedies.
It never fails every time I get put on to antibiotics I get a yeast infection. So as I'm about to start a round of penicillin I was wondering if there are any home remedies I can try as I'd rather avoid medicating that part of my body at the moment. What is ok to take for a yeast infection? I don't go to the Dr. Til Tuesday. I heard the one time fluconazole pill cause birth defects. Don't know how true it is just wanna be safe. i know a thing or two about yeast infections but as for the redness around the vulva thats new to me. it could be due to an infection coming from the yeast infection or probably due to other factors in her life. the best i can offer is to try and keep clean that area and to make sure she does not wear clothes that are too restraining in the crotch region, she needs to let it breath alittle down there and wear cotton undies. comfort and clean is the way to go.
