I been having yeast infection on and off and haven't been treating it cause it only last a day or two. Now I have a yeast infection and it last over 2 days. I need to call my doctor tm sap.
t know about any home remedies, but you could pick up an over the counter Vagisil screening kit. The kit can indicate whether you have a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, or something more serious in which you would need to see the doctor for. As far as the home pregnancy test, I'd try again using first morning urine if you haven't already. Hope this helps until you can get in to see the doctor.
I have never heard of a yeast infection being linked to preterm labour, but I am not a Dr. either so I certainly don't know that for sure. I do know you shouldn't just ignore it, nor should you try to treat it yourself with an over the counter remedy. You should see your Dr. I don't know it this applied to yeast infections, but I do know that small issues can be bigger problems during pregnancy and your Dr. is the best person to diagnose and treat you appropriately.
I would treat it myself though with home remedies. ..but im 38 weeks pregnant close to 39 and ide rather just kill the source of it then for it to keep comeing back.

I knew I was pregnant because I had a yeast infection. They're actually quite common during pregnancy. If it's a horrible itch, I'd call your doctor and they could call you in a prescription for something that will heal it quickly.
Nope can't do that stuff no more while pregnant. Sounds like a yeast infection which is normal to get while pregnant u need to speak with ur Dr to get the cream and antibiotic that is safe for ur baby.
Is there any home remedies that are safe in pregnancy to get rid of a yeast infection? I have already had it twice ans took that one day pill form of it. Just found out its listed as category c so that kind of annoyed me how my dr just acted like it was completely safe. I also really dont want to shoot medicine up there because it just sounds really difficult... any suggestions??
ve been diagnosed with bv, then a yeast infection, then another yeast infection, then both a yeast infection and bv at the same time, then another yeast infection. It never fails every time I get put on to antibiotics I get a yeast infection. So as I'm about to start a round of penicillin I was wondering if there are any home remedies I can try as I'd rather avoid medicating that part of my body at the moment. I will of course eat yogurt and drink cranberry juice while I take them. However, that never really helps me prevent a yeast infection. So any ideas for after the fact?
u must get checked. if your positive that's a yeast infection, then there is so many ways to eliminate it. i used to have yeast infection before, i tried using natural remedies such as yogurt and such but it didn't worked. so i went to the local drugstore and get myself a garlic oil capsules/softgel. it really works for me and it also kills odor around the vaginal area.
Is this your first?? Alot of pregnant women get yeast infections or uti's, hormone changes and such: / go to docs they'll give you an antibiotic and a cream for the hurting. Hope this helps!
