yaz vs merina

Removed it 3 days ago and was put on Yaz. Doctor ordered I start same day with Yaz in the silver section, however, there isnt a Tuesday silver section pill. She said I must start on Wednesday. My consern is... will I now forever be a day ahead when drinking the pill? Im confussed like hell with how I need to continue with my second month of Yaz supply? Ive read up about it but I cant seem to make sense of it...

He wants to have a Merina IUD placed, and Yaz birth control orally to control the bleeding. He refuses to consider a partial hysterectomy, as did my prior OB-GYN. I have been stable in my bi-polar for close to 4 years now. Noted a downward change in stability now. What will happen to me on these new ones? I'm scared.

I meant unclear exactly what kind of thyroid problem -- ie thyroiditis vs hot nodule vs graves vs abnormal labs of uncertain significance......vs possible pituitary issue.... would see an endocrinologist to sort this out. It is an unusual situation to have consistently normal TSH/T4 and high T3.

I had my merina removes on June 4th. I had the merina crash like 2 days afterward and it lasted around a week. About 2 weeks later I had light bleeding for like 3 days. It is now June 10th. i had the merina for a year. i been feeling sick for 2weeks and took 3 home test and all was postive i been cramping and spotting a lil blood. am i having a miscarage?

i inserted merina 3 months ago, during the first month i started to feel many changes in my body, flushing. drwsiness, back pain, neck and shoulders pain,,,i removed it after the first month, in early november. but until now i feel pain in my ovaries, flushing, chest pain, hot and cold at the same time, back pain, i feel fire inside me, some times numbness in my head and hands, as if my body is too heavy,,,i started having panic attacks, and mood swings...

t felt right for years (well ever since I had the merina put in) but never thought it would have anything to do with the merina. The merina was a good choice for me at the time because I hated getting my period and it was a safe contraception for me as far as not falling pregnant. Hi, I am 26 years old and have two children. For last 1 year I am having very heavy bleeding with clots. Doctor did D/C for three times during this period. This problem started after birth of my young child by C/setion. Doctor also put merina coil for 2 times but it did not work. I had D&C about 20 days ago and doctor gave me injection Decapeptyl and put merina coil. But this also does not seem to be working. Any help on this.

If you asking on behalf of a female contemplating the use of the contraceptive product called YAZ or already using YAZ, please tell her that YAZ has been found to be a questionable product for birth control. By questionable , this is what I mean. I have seen commercials where lawyers are telling women who have used YAZ and have suffered severe side effects from using YAZ that they are entitled to a settlement. I conclude that the product YAZ can , in some cases, cause severe side effects.

Hello. I have had the merina IUD in place for nearly 5 years. My periods became very light spotting once every few months. Over the last 6 months my periods have become more regular and have been between 26 and 28 days cycles. This month however I am a week and a half late. My question is am I at higher risk of pregnancy due to the age of the merina and it needing to be replaced soon? I'm hopeful it is simply a matter of a funny cycle and not baby number 5.

I was on yaz for a few years, and then I switched. The new pills made my period crazy, but yaz made it come the same time every month. However, yaz made my periods last longer, and I would bleed on and off for a week towards the end of using yaz.

Hi there, Are you using Merina?Merina can cause menstrual irregularities and cramps but these effects are common in the first few months of its use. The hormonal IUD can cause noncancerous growths like ovarian cysts in few women. These can cause abdominal pain and spotting in between. The chances of ectopic pregnancy are increased with the use of IUDs.If you are doubtful about pregnancy take up the test. This is merely an advice.

I would stop taking Yaz definately! There is lots of bad things going on with Yaz it could be counteracting with the Prozac also..im surprised the Dr has not took you off! I hope we dont scare you more but you really need to do research on Yaz and give it to your parents and Dr! Good luck sweety and keep us updated please!
