I meant unclear exactly what kind of thyroid problem -- ie thyroiditis vs hot nodule vs graves vs abnormal labs of uncertain significance......vs possible pituitary issue.... would see an endocrinologist to sort this out. It is an unusual situation to have consistently normal TSH/T4 and high T3.

I'm 19 and have been taking birth control pills (a generic version of Yaz) for several years for acne. It's worked well, and I rarely get breakouts. However, I recently became sexually active and it's sometimes a pain remembering to take them at the same time daily. I've been looking into more longtemr birth control solutions.

This is my first month on Lutera and I've been taking it faithfully. I started taking it the last day of my last period on a Sunday. I guess Sunday is like the holy grail of days to start the pill. lol I was off of birth control since March prior to starting this and I have had a normal period that whole time. I usually get it between Day28 and Day30. I started getting sharp pain in my right ovary (Day24) which lasted for 3 days.

i am just starting to take a low dose of topamax at 50mg a day and not going to increase to more than 100mg a day and i am wondering if this will interfere with my lutera pills?? i have read that it lowers the effectiveness but i have also read that it doesnt happen until you reach doses of 200mg or more. i have also heard that by increasing your birth control dose you can help the effectiveness and my doctor specifically prescribed lutera because it has a higher dosage than most BC.

Hi well I just started lutera birth control and this is currently my 5th day on lutera. On my 5th day I had unprotected sex but he didn't come inside me I was wondering if I could get pregnant? Should I worry?

It has been a combination different hormone pills such as good old OrthoNovum 777 which was my first oral contraceptive and then the Depo shot and now for about the past 8-10 years I have been on Lutera (Alesse). If there is a lower hormone pill (such as Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo) I am hoping maybe my GP will put me on. But then again, might be to late to change? I take lutera but I don't take it at the same time everyday. I take it when I wake up. last week my boyfriend came in me and a couple days later I started feeling nauseous and cramps and can barely eat anything. my period is irregular so I can't wait for that cause idk when it'll come. what are the chances I could be pregnant? when can I take a pregnancy test?

I am 18 years old, and I started taking Lutera Birth Control two nights ago. I was prescribed them through Planned Parenthood. Yesterday, the day after taking my first pill, I was breathing normally but I felt like I wasn't getting the depth of air I was used to, which forced me to make myself yawn or take deep sharp breaths. If you asking on behalf of a female contemplating the use of the contraceptive product called YAZ or already using YAZ, please tell her that YAZ has been found to be a questionable product for birth control. By questionable , this is what I mean. I have seen commercials where lawyers are telling women who have used YAZ and have suffered severe side effects from using YAZ that they are entitled to a settlement. I conclude that the product YAZ can , in some cases, cause severe side effects.

I'm on my second month of lutera bc pill and I have started having slight cramps and sore breasts for the last couple of days. I had sex on Feb 9 during my first month of pills, I'm just not sure if this is a side effect of the bc pill because I don't believe that I am pregnant.

I was on yaz for a few years, and then I switched. The new pills made my period crazy, but yaz made it come the same time every month. However, yaz made my periods last longer, and I would bleed on and off for a week towards the end of using yaz.

I would stop taking Yaz definately! There is lots of bad things going on with Yaz it could be counteracting with the Prozac also..im surprised the Dr has not took you off! and went from 101 to 116 lbs. After the first two cycles of being on Yaz, I gained a cup size. I feel bloated ALL the time, and look it too, all through my cycles, and more so when I have my period. Even after lifestyle changes (more exercising, watching calorie intake) it still feels like there's a layer of puffiness and bloating covering my whole body! Anyone have any suggestions?! I stopped yaz for a month then started it again. I also had the same symptom after starting yaz again. My doctor change my birth control bill back to Ortho Tri- Cycle Lo this month.

I have been on yaz for a year and I have noticed that since then I have been suffering from anxiety, panic attacks and depression. This is not like me at all and have even gone to the point of therapy. A major side effect of the pill is depression and I know this is what is causing this. Last week I had switched to the brand Loett to see if it makes a difference. I know this could take a few months to notice change but now I'm considering coming off it all together.

No, I did not suffer from depression or anxiety prior to taking yaz. I started Yaz on a Thursday and by Sunday I was super excited to see my boyfriend and then that night and the following day its like someone flipped a switch on me..I just felt weird all the time..even with him. Do you know why that is? I started taking Cypralex a month into taking Yaz. I did go off Yaz within 9 days because i thought something was weird...
